“first off.....we have been going next door to this place for years for my kids....so today my 12 yr old twins said can we have seafood , so we went here a gem hidden next to pizza place...The food was phenomenal, my kids had dungeons crab shrimp corn potato in garlic butter, I had shrimp sausage corn potato.....with the Cajun full mix medium spicy and it was superb, I have eaten at the other boil type restaurants and this one was the best , service , taste, super clean place , even bathrooms were spotless.. this place is my new fave and a hidden gem....I give 5 stars and A++ for the cleanest place in DFW, GARLAND....HIGHLY RECCOMEND“

The seafood was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely packed with flavor. Every bite was delicious! What made the experience even better was the spectacular service. The staff was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Great food + amazing customer service = a perfect dining experience! “I normally don’t eat gumbo, but their’s is amazing. It’s very flavorful! It was plenty of meat. I also had fish, shrimp, and rat toes. The rat toes are always spicy. The drink I ordered was a Blue Mofo, and was strawberry flavored. 10 out of 10 for everything! Our server was AC. He was top notch! He was attentive and friendly.“

“The food is so delicious. The owner and cook is so friendly. She sat and talked to us for a bit and was cool. The frozen daiquiri’s are awesome. I got the All American and my boyfriend got the South Dallas. They were both very tasty. I got fried fish, wings and fries. My boyfriend got shrimp Po’boy and cabbage. So Yummy. 😋 stop by and check this place out. It’s a great place. It’s decorated so nice.“

“I was in the area and I wanted some Mexican food so found out El Fenix was not there, so I seen The Hen House and I stopped by. “One of the best seafood restaurants in the country. Whenever I am in town I always stop by this restaurant. And we usually order fried calamari and crab spinach dip for starters. Now main dish of choice depends of what we’re craving. Their lobster bisque remind me of home. They have huge portions (everything bigger in TEXAS) and great variety of seafood meals to pig out on.
