“First time! It was delightful, the atmosphere is inviting and a wonderful respite from the heat after shopping! The food, where do I start! I started out with the Tzatziki with Pita bread, then the succulent shrimp scampi, I would definitely recommend this duo it was heaven to my palate! To finish off I had to try dessert, I had the Apple empanada & dulce de leche ice cream, it was luxurious and delectable, I savored every bite! And that was thanks to Mousafa’s description, he’s an excellent waiter, he knew the menu well, very impressive! Very attentive, friendly demeanor, with a wonderful attitude! I’ll be back! It’s now #1 on my list! You will not be disappointed! This from a very satisfied customer.“

“Main Street Cafe has a menu packed with good choices. The burger and fries are very tasty and delicious. The chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken will be the best you have ever eaten. The Salmon salad oh my what a treat. The pimento cheese sandwich with jalapeños and pecans will make you want to return for a second round. I do not normally eat pork chops. Their pork chops are tender and full of flavor. There are many other options. These are my favorites. Give them a try.“

“Lakewood Brewing is fabulous! The service was great, the beers were great, and the food was spot on! We had been in contact with the Jennifer, the PR Rep, to see what beers were on tap. She was great and had some stuff set aside for our visit. The tap room staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond with service.
The tap room wasn't noisy, which was nice. They also have a biergartenfor and outdoor option. There are plenty of beers offered, seasonals, exclusive, etc. they also have wine and ciders. The menu isn't overly large, but it offers plenty. The fig and prosciutto flatbread is freaking great.
I'm so glag we stopped in. We love the Temptress, but there are some other great beers available: the double bock was something I knew I would like but was 100% surprised at how much I liked it. All I can say is swing by, grab a glass of something, and let Lakewood help you toast your good life!“

“We visited Christina’s for an early Valentine’s dinner and had an incredible experience from start to finish. We were greeted by a gentleman with an amazing personality who immediately made us feel welcome. We were quickly seated and served fresh chips and salsa while we looked over the menu. The team was on it — providing attentive and seamless service throughout the evening.

I ordered the birria tacos, and my wife had the steak and chile relleno with shrimp. As someone who’s a tough food critic, I have to say the food was outstanding. Everything was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and served hot. The margaritas were refreshing and icy — the perfect complement to the meal.

Our server was attentive, consistently checking in and making sure we were well taken care of without ever being intrusive. From an industry professional’s perspective, this experience was a solid 10/10. We’ll definitely be back!“

The pieces of catfish were small so they ended up giving me 5 (it's the simple things in life that I love). It seemed like a simple cornmeal batter, which I grew up on and wanted. Not sure the spices they add to the batter but I WILL BE BACK TO ORDER MORE!! Staff was extremely friendly and the patrons all seemed to be regulars. My buddy got a burger and onion rings. Burger looked great and I can say the onion rings were absolutely great!

“I went in today for the first time, first time trying taco casa it was good it was better than Taco Bell in my opinion. I did forget my purse at the restaurant and when I came back it was gone. I asked the employee and she recalled me by my name on the order and said she placed my purse in the back. Thank goodness for her honesty, I have all my life in my purse. “This was my review of the Beef House in Garland. I am blocked. You can't trust Facebook reviews apparently because they can just delete bad reviews and block the person. Good riddance. There are much better restaurants in town. I had been a customer for over 30 years. I finally had enough of the owner's son being exceptionally rude to myself and my family. The food is good, but customer service and respect goes a long way. He has no interest in keeping regular customers.“

“I tried this place for the first time. I tried the huitlacoche quesadilla and the chilaquiles red with eggs and meat. The quesadilla was freshly made, purple hand-made masa but was a bit too hot for me. The quilaquiles were also freshly made with little meat but the rest portions were big. Not too much breakfast selection, I would try lunch or dinner instead. Great coffee! My cost was about $23 for one person.“
