He threw in a mango lassi with our order, which was not expected and SO delicious. All of our food was AMAZING and enough to have for lunch the next day. “As somebody who has lived in DFW his entire life, attended countless events, worked with companies all over the Metroplex, and eaten at some of the best restaurants across the country, I'm honestly surprised it took me this long to come.

I’m going to say something you may not expect. The steak was outstanding, as good as I’ve had. But the hospitality? It’s been 24 hours and I’m still smiling. That was seriously service in the form of a performing art. I am blown away.

Our server, AB, was quite possibly the best server I've ever had. He greeted us both with a handshake, learned our names, paced the meal perfectly, checked in without hovering, served our sides throughout dinner, and somehow managed to make a busy dining room feel personal. Jessica was convinced to step outside her normal filet comfort zone and order the filet cap (spinalis), one of the most prized cuts of beef available. The recommendation was perfect and she loved it.

What really impressed me was that every recommendation felt genuine and was presented with logic. Nothing felt like an upsell. Everything felt like guidance from someone who wanted us to have the best possible experience. AB was our steakhouse Sherpa.

I don’t want to downplay the quality of the food itself. The steaks were remarkably good, the menu was deep and diverse, and pretty much anything we ate was exceptional. You can’t eat bad food here. But great food is not actually why this place is famous. It’s now obvious to me how Al Biernat's earned the reputation. It was service that made us truly feel like the most important guests in the restaurant.

In a time where most restaurants are trying to automate, streamline, and speed everything up, Al Biernat's reminded me that the ultimate form of luxury is still just a human being who genuinely cares about your experience. We will be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“The food is delicious, but when it comes to paying for your food they bring this little machine to your table to payout mine you they already put the gratuity on your bill, even if there is 2 or more. The waiter or waitress have a nerve to ask for additional tips, but you don’t know that they already charge you gratuity and asking for more money. I don’t think this is fair and right to do. Me and my husband came for our anniversary we enjoyed everything, but telling us that you have to share your tips with others and asking for more money is very wrong. Not good for business 🤦🏼‍♀️“

The food was good we enjoyed it but for the price it could definitely be better, along with the service. The hostess was very quiet and rude and then our waiter for the rest of the night never came around to check on us to see if we wanted anything. She checked on us less than the food runners and other waiters. The other workers at this establishment were great and would consistently check on us, my main complaint was about our waiter Mandy.“

Our server, Matt, was incredible. He pointed out all the items that couldn’t be made gluten free. He answered all of our questions with confidence and clarity. We felt so comfortable with our selections. As for the food, OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! It was INCREDIBLE!!! You could have fooled me that it was gluten free (I know it was because I didn’t have to take my partner to the hospital)! Not only did the give us an amazing meal, but they brought out a special, gluten free dessert to celebrate our anniversary. We also were given some gift cards as a thank you for celebrating our anniversary there. Marcos Ruiz took really good care of us and recommended the Texas Hill Country Quail Medallion and the Burrata Tomato salad with a vinaigrette reduction—both were super fresh and full of flavor. Super delicious. For dinner, we had steak with bone marrow butter and salmon with rich sun-dried tomato, roasted garlic & cilantro butter, both cooked perfectly. You can really tell the food is made fresh to order, and the quality shines in every bite—the tx asparagus, potatoes, and wild rice were out of this world as well. Marcos also surprised us with a special dessert design for our anniversary, which made the night feel even more special. Overall, the chef did an amazing job, as did Marcos, whom we requested in advance, and served us with so much enthusiasm and care that made our night, and the whole experience felt thoughtful and memorable.“
