The bean soup is truly outstanding, complemented by the accompanying chips and salsa. I also thoroughly enjoyed the queso, finding it to be both rich and flavorful.

However, I must note that the chips and taco shells, which I believe are house-made, were quite firm. Several members of my dining party experienced discomfort due to their hardness. Consequently, I was unable to fully enjoy my tacos as much as I would have preferred due to the rigidity of the shells. Nevertheless, for those who appreciate a firmer texture, I would highly recommend them.

Regarding beverages, selecting the to-go drink option results in a considerably larger serving, so please be advised. Additionally, the lemonade is notably sweet, comparable to that offered by Chick-fil-A.“

The grilled onions and peppers are at the perfect level of doneness. The bean soup I add avacado to. It’s amazing. The verde sauce and sour cream sauce on the enchiladas are so good I get both. And the acoustic panels on the ceiling are essential in a brick and concrete space that is as busy as Ebar always is. Makes for a pleasant environment. 🤌“

“my husband and myself enjoyed and early dinner today at the Dallas location. We had the best waitress named LuLu. Her service was so fast and she was so attentive. I had the tortilla soup and the bowl was huge. It was fresh and perfectly seasoned. My husband had the fajita nachos and we shared some queso and tortillas of course and it was all fantastic. Can't forget about the frozen margaritas, they were the perfect compliment to our dinner. This location treats us wonderfully everytime we come.“

“La Calle Doce is a gem! We went for Friday lunch and loved everything—the cozy, beautifully maintained old house, peaceful vibe, and excellent service. I had the lunch special with fish soup and a ceviche tostada, and my husband had the salmon salad. Both were incredible, and the spicy ranch waters were a fun bonus. Some of the best food I’ve had in Dallas—can’t wait to go back!“

Today was very busy when I came in but was greeted right away, there was a small wait time but once I was seated everything came out right away. The food was fresh and Hot. “This is our son’s favorite place to eat. Reed is his favorite server, but he has recently met Avery and loves her too. Our son has special needs and is 20 years old so going out can be challenging. This place has never made us feel unwelcome no matter what behavior our son maybe having. In addition the food, dunk and atmosphere are wonderful! We will continue to come back. Thank you staff!“
