“Last night's Date Night with a Hottie led us to another East Dallas fave, El Vecino Tex Mex. Greeting us at the door was owner, John McBride, and his place was hoppin'!!! My better half and I bellied up to the bar as we waited just a few minutes for our table. I enjoyed a Maker's Mark Old Fashioned, and Sonia, a Pacifico. Immediately after being seated Edgar was quick to serve. We ordered chips and a massive guacamole as an appetizer. Then we shared sizzlin' steak fajitas. So good! I ordered another OF, while Sonia shifted to a Margarita on the Rocks that hit the spot. The Rita is El Vecino's offering during this summer's Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce Cocktail Passport program. So thankful for their participation. John and the EV family have been fantastic chamber members. Anyhow, John was running around, working the room, prepping tables and supporting staff. I love seeing business owners hustle, and he sure does that. “Ok i am usually quite a picky person and have high standards, so I was not expecting much from an airport Chili's. However, I was blown away! The server, Blaine, was amazing and very attentive. She made sure that we had every drink quickly and gave us some menu ideas. The burgers were amazing, like legit smash burgers. Fries were perfect too. Way beyond my expectations for airport food. Definitely give this place a try. I see a lot of mediocre and bad reviews on here, but ya'll should check this place out again.“

“Casa Navarro is a solid family place with a large selection of Mexican dishes. The friendly staff welcomed everyone and served with good cheer throughout the meal. The food is the star beginning with a delicious and complimentary bean soup and chips and salsa. The salsa has a nice blend of tomato and pepper spice.
We had lunch and there are more than 25 selections mostly under $11 per plate. My tacos al carbon had 2 tacos stuffed with well seasoned beef that were a perfect lunch portion served with rice and refried beans.
There is also an extensive dinner menu and the margaritas looked so good we will definitely be back to try both. And with prices that beat most other Mexican outlets, that will be soon and more often.“

“Bre was our server. Absolutely the best service I’ve had coming here. I have been here 3 times and this is the first memorable time. Amazing cocktail recommendations, and food preferences.

She also put up with our puppy who was very vocal our entire dinner. He barked and wanted to play and this was the only serve that took time out of their day to spend time and be kind.

Today I had two encounters with Jarad and the Manager Desmond who made sure me and my family was well taken care of. Today was very busy when I came in but was greeted right away, there was a small wait time but once I was seated everything came out right away. The food was fresh and Hot. “Banditos has been in Snyder Plaza as long as I can remember, so it’s a staple. We went on a Sunday around 11 AM when they just opened the doors. The restaurant has a strong smell of Pine-Sol in the early hours (confirmed twice), which does suggest it’s clean, but the smell can be overpowering.

The service was phenomenal; our server was friendly, funny and attentive. We had the loaded queso, which is excellent and went with chicken fajita nachos. The “big” order comes with 6 nachos, the “bigger” order comes with 12. They’re a little greasy from the cheese, but delicious. Very crunchy, thick chips, lots of cheese, and it comes with all the fixings. Great place to grab a lunch and Snyder Plaza has shopping after a few margaritas.“
