“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fuzzy Taco in Balch Springs, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and creatively prepared. Whether you're craving classic tacos or trying something a bit more adventurous, their menu has a great variety to satisfy any palate.

The drinks were equally impressive, with a good selection of beverages to complement your meal. The staff truly made the experience special; they were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making sure every need was met with a smile.

Overall, Fuzzy Taco is a must-visit spot in Balch Springs for anyone looking for delicious food, great drinks, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be returning soon“

“my husband and myself enjoyed and early dinner today at the Dallas location. We had the best waitress named LuLu. Her service was so fast and she was so attentive. I had the tortilla soup and the bowl was huge. It was fresh and perfectly seasoned. My husband had the fajita nachos and we shared some queso and tortillas of course and it was all fantastic. Can't forget about the frozen margaritas, they were the perfect compliment to our dinner. This location treats us wonderfully everytime we come.“

“This little joint has been an East Dallas treasure for some time. When you think of mom's home made breakfast. Best describes Gold Rush, from the fluffiest pancakes which IMHO is their clame to fame. I might order a tradional fried egg and bacon breakfast, but bet your bottom dollar it's coming with a short stack of pancakes. As you imagine the tastiest ham slice. remember that they do lunch. fall apart pot roast, hamburgers will not disappoint, chicken fried steak, why not have an omelet for brunch, they'll do it just right. It's not a big place in any way. You get there and you see an empty table go ahead and seat yourself. if there's a short line. you might have to stand between 5 and 8 minutes but everyone in line is cordial. when guests leave their table, grab it, even if it hasn't been cleared off very shortly someone will come by a cleaned your table. while you wait hopefully a member of staff already given you a menu. Be ready when someone takes your order. and the place can be hopping. Give it a shot, I'm sure you will find your visit enjoyable and the food done right.“

Update: When this restaurant was called El Taquito the above review was true. However, it closed for about six months and then reopened with a redone interior, new menu and new name, Taquito Cafe. The food now is definitely not as good. We will not return.“
