“We sat at the bar and Miss Rita was our server/bartender, she made sure we always had everything we needed, she was so nice and never stopped moving, has a awesome personality and was a joy to be around! 10/10 love this restaurant DO RECOMMEND!“
“Bright, vibrant art makes this place feel very cheerful. The fun, quirky ingredient combos in the tacos made it difficult to choose just one!The music on the patio is club level, so stay indoors if you want to carry on a conversation. The food was fresh and very well prepared. The poblano salsa was more of a dip than a soupy salsa consistency.“
“This was a hidden gem that my bf and I stumbled upon on a Sunday afternoon! The food was so fresh and flavorful as well as authentic. I look forward to coming back for dinner! The ambience is also really inviting and fun! I recommend this spot for those seeking authentic Veracruz food. The service is top notch!“
“White visiting in town, we were told to check out Torchy's, and it did not disappoint! We tried the burritos, tacos, and queso. Everything was delicious and service was quick and friendly. We would 100% come back again on a future visit.“
“Came from out of state to hunt this place down near my hotel and was not disappointed. Torchy's always delivers the goods and I had a good experience as usual. Food came out quick and hot, service was tremendous, and Joe did an amazing job keeping everyone happy. Even got my basketball game onto the TV for me as I watched and ate my grub. Definitely recommend. Awesome experience.“
“This taco place makes really good cabeza “beef head” and tripa “tripe” tacos! The service is a hit or miss, but the staff is cute so I continue to go.Kid-friendliness: They have a huge selection of children approved food in their menu.Wheelchair accessibility: The facility is wheelchair accessible, I brought my parents and they love the huge space.“
“Hands down best vegan spot in Dallas! Delicious food with passionate and kind staff. I’d love for them to expand into having more seating, but even as just a to-go spot, it’s wonderful. The food is always consistently amazing, and their wait times are very accurate. 10/10 every day!!!“
“El Chile Taqueria offers an exceptional taco experience that's hard to beat! Their tacos are generously filled with delicious, flavorful meat, providing a satisfying bite in every bite. The blend of spices and seasonings creates an explosion of taste that will leave your taste buds craving for more. I highly recommend El Chile Taqueria for anyone in search of authentic, mouthwatering tacos. You won't be disappointed!“
“up authentic and delicious tacos! With a commitment to genuine flavors and quality ingredients, it's no surprise that their tacos have earned such high praise. Whether you're a fan of classic street-style tacos or more adventurous flavor combinations, Mami Coco seems to deliver an unforgettable culinary experience.“
“The restaurant is beautifully decorated in an egg theme with 2 private egg-shaped booths. They have some great menu options, including breakfast tacos, standard breakfast, and Benedict options for breakfastor brunch. They also have great drink options, including espresso, flavor options, and liquor drinks.“
“It should be a little bigger as the restaurant was fairly crowded the salsa they had was almost all gone so didn't get to try it also the tacos where on the expensive side but did enjoy that they had corn tortillas but other then that the tacos ? are very good got the carne asada and El pastor tacos they where on point ☝️ also the quesadillas and the Vaso de elote also enjoyed the Jamaica was one of the best I have ever tried in the States would definitely come again when I return to Dallas.“
“I never leave reviews but they hands down have the best Nigerian food I’ve ever tasted in dallas. Very affordable & I’m obsessed. I had the Jrice with smoked & stewed chicken, the coconut fried rice, also the smoked brisket. Bro, they are really doing buy one get one free!!! This is a hidden Gem you have to try. They also close late!“
“We went there for lunch while we were visiting Dallas from California. The place has a nice vibe. We ordered 4 different veggie tacos that are on the menu, and the one with Cauliflower was the best followed by panner and then the tofu one. We didn't really like the mushroom one, as it didn't have much flavor compared to the others. Their nacho chips are good with the avocado, and the totter tots were good too (though a little unhealthy.) I would surely recommend this place for a nice good lunch.“
“Food was great! Trompo was ok. Fajita was definitely the way to go. First time here and learned it’s better to call in. Placed order in person and waited about 30-40 min. Quesadilla with trompo and fajita was also amazing. Salsas are ok, not the greatest. But would definitely come back for more. Will probably be my to-go spot since I’m new to the area.5 stars because it exceeded my expectations as a food truck/stand! 10 out of 10 recommended! Depending what time you go parking can get packed since it is a gas station/corner store.“
“A hip Oak Cliff version of Cheers! Filled with regulars - I mean a generous happy hour from 3-6 M-F - fab front porch and patio that encourages relax and reboot from whatever ails you.Varied menu w a Taco focus. My fav? The tacos and a bottle of wine combo. I mean - why not?! And all the while you are surrounded by a happy people connecting contentedly hummmmmm. The best of vibes.“
“I was skeptical of another taco shop in downtown since so many of them are commercialized and aren't authentic at all, but the taco stand lives up to the hype!! Relatively good prices for the quality you're getting, pretty quick service, and the food is AWESOME. Will 100% be coming back. Only wish they served margaritas lol“
“It’s amazing experience with velvet taco. I tried 3 tacos there which is paneer, tofu and Mushroom. If you like mushrooms would suggest to try once. You will taste different than tacos with Mushrooms. Also I tried there’s velvet cake which so delicious.“
“Really good food. Great service. Nice atmosphere. We purchased enchiladas (with rice and beans), two trompo tacos, and two breakfast burritos. None of it disappointed! In my opinion, the food was decently priced as well. I will definitely be back to try the other menu options!“
“Placed our order at the counter, no table side service, our food was ready for pickup on the side counter, no heads up of where to pick up or anything. Tortillas were on the cold side, not what we were expecting from a taco place, but the meats were still good. The Al pastor taco was good and it included the pineapple. Very good!Wheelchair accessibility: While they do have a wheelchair accessible entrance, navigating thru the seating area will be kind of tight.“
“This was a great little spot. We looked for a good, authentic, taco place and it met all our expectations! Randell was our server and he spoke great english and explained each dish very clearly. He went above and beyond making us feel welcome and cared for. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys seafood.“
“First time here 4-14-24.Always pass this spot up when going to our normal Sunday spot, deciding to.stop by today because other spot was packed.I got the fajita breakfast burrito. Decent size really good. Perfect serving of fajita, egg, cheese and beans within the burrito. Not 1 ingredient was overpowering another, tasted really good. Also got tacos, 2 carnitas, 2 fajitas, and 2 cabeza. All tasted really, especially with the salsa provided. The Chile arbol salsa was a good and creeps up on you on the hotness. There is one that is orangish, im thinking that was habanero and that was good as well. And wife liked the green one. All had a perfect kick.I washed it down with a Jamaica (hibiscus) drink.I would definitely come back and get something else“
“Fast service, good food and very affordable. For what is essentially a fast food place, this is a great option. If you like tacos (and if not, you're in the wrong state) this is a nice, clean, reasonable place to eat. We will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: The great thing about Mexican food is you can leave meat out of any dish - and it is vegetarian.“
“We stopped in for a quick drink. The bartender was very friendly and made excellent drinks! We highly enjoyed the fresh pepper in the Spicy Guava Margarita. The La Mera Pera is truly a smoky and savory drink with a super delightful vanilla honey foam.“
“Food was great and the service was awesome. I had a burrito (huge!) with barbacoa, and my wife had veggie tacos ! The service was friendly and they work as a team. Only reason I give it a 4 is because of the location being inside of a store and not the cleanest of stores. I would love to see this place in another spot for just them!Vegetarian options: Veggie tacos but they charge $1 per topping so that was a bit weird. Price should just reflect the option given.“
“I ordered three street tacos. The amount of food given per taco was excessive. I wish they had used double corn tortillas with less filling. The salsas were good and mild. The prices were great. The interior of the restaurant was a bit barren. I tried their ground beef crispy taco which was a bit greasy, the steak classic taco and the chicken al pastor taco with pineapple were served on corn tortillas.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free at your own risk“
“Takes 1 minute and a half to get food the service is excellent the servers and people who work their are extremely nice and hard workers the air is amazing and you can get so many different choices of flavors and drinks extremely cheap for the excellent “
“You MUST try this taco spot! Absolutely phenomenal quality food, excellent customer service, and the way the team works together is awesome to see! 100% will recommend to everyone I know! My mama and I tried this restaurant for the first time last night and came back for lunch today! Sooo good!“
“Get the barbacoa (on anything!)+ rice and beans! Huge quesadillas for the price - easily two large meals. Located next to one of the cleanest, well kept meat departments I've seen in the neighborhood (including Tom Thumb and Kroger). Tons of fish and fresh meats in this location and it always smells and looks fresh.“
“This is mainly a review for purépecha. I paid for the table experience and it was worth every dollar. The service is great, the chef gives an explanation for every dish and his inspiration for them. The tortillas are delicious and are the best I have had in Dallas! All the food is traditional Mexican food and will transport you to Mexico itself. I definitely recommend if you enjoy fine dining. They also have great mezcal and tequila options.“
“Cute and casual spot. Service was great! ? Tacos were really good I had no idea though that if I asked for potatoes they would be mashed potatoes but hey there is a first for everything. Didn’t taste bad but I did opt to take them off myself. Will definitely come back and try something else the next time I’m in the area.❤️✌️“
“It was my first time at Torchy’s tacos, I sat at the bar and their employee Jose made me feel very welcomed. He gave me a little summary on their menu and recommended the margaritas to drink and a couple tacos which were all BOMB. He made my first experience one of the best I had so much fun and ever since I have been a couple times thanks to Jose :)))“
“The food is really authentic and delicious and the customer service is top notch. I had the flour gorditas and they were cooked to perfection!!! I recommend the carne con papas ones! Denise was great and the owners are genuinely the nicest people I’ve met! 5 out of 5 every time I go!“
“Excellent place. Very delicious food. Clean place. The people who serve are very friendly, but the tacos are delicious, the tortilla soaked in its D.F.-type fat. although we know they are from Monterrey but if they are delicious I recommend them 100%“
“Amazing service cordial employees and great tacos. Got the 25 trompo tacos and they are sooo good. The Webb Chapel ext. Location is nice clean with tables and chairs if you rather eat at the place or take them home and enjoy while watching a movie“
“Though the place *feels* like fast food — go through the line and order at the window — the food is quintessentially not.I had a grilled salmon taco and also a crispy tofu taco. I was surprised at how good the latter was. I also had elote guac which was AWESOME. Comes with plenty of blue corn tortilla chips.“
“This place is quirky, it’s the closest thing I’ve found to a late night CDMX taqueria in E Dallas, which is the only time I visit, but they deliver. I pretty much always get the Flautas but I mean look at this pic, how could I not just keep ordering those? The dining situation is kinda random, but kinda great, either your on the makeshift sidewalk patio of a fairly busy intersection or on a dining room with great music from a playlist from someones phone in the kitchen while the TV’s play televangelist with the sound on! So random, so amazing. It an experience, foods great… the Flautas at least and nothing else matters, eat well, go home happy!Saludos!“
“Came to eat here with my sister and got the 3 taco plate. SUPER DELICIOUS NO CAP!!! The jamaica, homemade tortillas, and both salsas were good. (Si pica good la roja) Not too greasy tacos but enough grease for flavor. The rice was also fluffy and well done as well as the frijoles charros. The atmosphere was also good. They have a TV and 2 big projectors where they put movies or music. They have a jukebox and pool tables. It was also clean which is a huge plus. The cook which I am guessing is the owner super friendly man easy going. It's hard to find authentic real Mexican food where I live so this place made me happy :)“
“I forgot to take a picture of my delicious tacos, but they're always very tasty. Not my first time to this location, but they were very friendly and even custom made last week's specialty taco for me, but I think I wasn't supposed to tel anyone, oops. Love the variety of unique tacos here and the different creative tacos they dear in and out to keep things new and fresh. Will definitely return.“
“Run to try these tacos, they're literally the best tacos on this side of 75.Didn't skimp on portions and the workers were polite and super fast even though they had a million orders ahead of us . Can't wait to try everything, the trompo tacos were amazing.“
“We came across Del Sur Tacos on our way to another place and we decided we would stop and give it try ……. And we didn’t regret it one bit .The staff is very friendly, the place is clean and very well put together, food and drinks are impressively delishhhhhhh!!!We ordered the parrillada with the homemade corn tortillas (10 out of 10) and we had multiple Maya and Emilio Barrera drinks also 10 out of 10 .Most definitely will come back for more with my family!!!“
“Good place to eat and chill. But ....your gonna charge 3% cause prices are rising and that is not my problem considering you automatically charge 20% gratuity - give the souvenir cup. For real.. just consider it! 100+ bucks and we can't keep a souvenir cup???“
“Very good and very cheap tacos. Nothing fancy about them, but they're simple and taste good. Spent a weekend in Dallas and ate here 5 times in 3 days. Only problem is that once there was a bone in my chicken taco. Even with that it still gets 5/5 stars.“
“If you are looking for funky fun authentic with a heavy dose of family love ?- this is your new fav morning start! Breakfast tacos made to order with a heavy side of smiles and joy. Latin music ? softly playing while you wait for your order is an another divine layer of perfect.Yes the family serves lunch as well. The plates are amazing. But my fav is the breakfast tacos. ? each taco comes with choice of red or green salsa. Red is spicier. Both delicious. I especially appreciate the add on of avocado if you wish.Zip up Zang Blvd and stop by- your tummy will be glad you did!“
“So glad to have found my old night crew who used to work at the now closed location in the Chevron on Garland Rd. They truly make the Best Trumpo tacos. Definitely check them out. 10 ? for $17.98 served with all the fixings of limes, radish, onion, cilantro, fried peppers, onions and pineapple and their red and green sauces. So good.“
“The atmosphere is very nice. Great date nite spot. Food was excellent. I had the crab cakes and the boudain. My hubby had the dirty rice w salmon. Everything was seasoned well and very tasty. It definitely had a La. Cajun /creole vibe. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“This restaurant is a hidden gem! I have been coming to this place for many years. This is your authentic Mexican food place that you want to come to. It is always packed on the weekends so be prepared to wait, because food is freshly made, but totally worth the wait , you won’t be disappointed.“
“This is a gem on the east side of Dallas off the 635 in Saint Augustine. Everything is handmade from the tortillas beans eggs meat is fabulous. Nothing like handmade flour tortillas in the morning or evening to make the day go better unlike many other smaller restaurants, this place is bilingual, and have very friendly people, don't be intimidated by the exterior of this place is great. The food is excellent portions with good pricing and explodes with flavored. Y'all got to try the red chili it has heat but a lot of flavor. Definitely a place to come back to.“
“We live in Louisiana, don't get a chance to visit good Taquerias, this place made our trip to Dallas worth while. Place was clean, friendly staff. Flour tortillas are home made. The breakfast bowl was delicious. Fast service and good food. No complaints at all.“
“God, I love this place. I have yet to try something I don't like. Prices are great, especially for the portion you get. Tacos have a lot of meat, and at least the ones I've tried have double tortilla. Salsas are yummy, except for one dark green one that to me tastes earthy. If you're a TexMex lover, you have to try this spot. Get the jalapeno ranch and thank me later.“
“Great flavor and verity. Our waitress Aracely was very attentive.Vegetarian options: There's a salad bar. Beans, eggs in sauce. But let me tell you something as a Mexican and want to eat at a Buffet trust me when I say sure not looking for a vegetarian place“
