“First time trying Jolaf rice and i feel like it’s superior to any rice i have had previously. The seasoning was so full and balanced with the Pulled pork i ordered being succulent and flavorful. moist and a healthy portion for the price. Definitely will eat again and recommend to all my friends.“

The patty was juicy and flavorful, and it literally melts in your mouth. their signature sauce is next-level good creamy, tangy, and addictive. But the real game-changer? “Wow! Why have I not come here sooner?! Went last night with husband and group of friends. The house margarita was amazing. The salsa (you pay extra, but well worth it), is delicious. Everyone loved their food. And the service was attentive and prompt. Will DEFINITELY be back and soon.“

“We love these tacos to the maximum. We have moved from the area and still make the 25 min drive. Just can't go wrong with them. Although my only complaint will be that the lady is VERRRRY RUDEEE!! No need for that. Other than that we love our tacos.“

“The trompo tacos, beans and salsas were delicious. The Rice was a bit dry and not as flavorful as I would have liked. I would give the food a solid 4.4.
You all should open your own food truck or restaurant. It would be well worth it.“

“I ordered the taco plate with 2 beef and 2 al pastor taco's with refried beans and rice. It was very good! The beans and rice were very tasty. The al pastor and beef taco's were amazing. They make their corn tortilla's fresh! 5 stars! Very nice people. I am very happy to support small business's that put such great effort into creating great food for their customer's. I hope they open their own restaurant in the future. Kudos.“

“My order was to go. From the moment I walked in Luke behind the counter greeted me and let me know that if I had questions that I should ask him, which I did. Everything was delicious especially the duck taco! The selection is unique and I’m glad I found this gem. I will definitely treat myself and my daughter to food from here again.“

“The food here is really good, I been going here for a couple of years now. The only thing I don’t like is when you pay with card they add a fee they never tell you about and from what I know they are the ones that should be paying that fee and not the customers, also today I order enchiladas and I requested to add two extra, mind you the order comes with three, well I got charged for two orders just for adding two more, if I would of known I would of just asked for two orders.“

“SO GOOD! They are not greedy with the meat. Their salsas are tasty with just enough heat to take that taco to a whole nuther level. And don't even get me started on those jalapeño cucumbers. It's like God and the devil made a truce for one day and created a heavenly spicy creation just for Estrella. These tacos are making me wanna move back to my old hood. Yea they are that good.“

“Stopped in here during a long layover at DFW based on the ratings. Maria the hostess greeted me with enthusiasm and seated me immediately. I took her up on her recommendation, ordering a carnitas burrito minus the lettuce (personal preference, not related to the current health concerns in the news). The burrito came out in about 5 minutes with a healthy serving of tri-color tortilla chips and salsa.
The burrito was definitely better than your avg airport food, with carnitas, rice, black beans, shredded cheese, pico, and a drizzle of crema made from sour cream, buttermilk, and a little cayenne pepper, all packed in a toasty, flour tortilla. Aside from being a bit wet and drippy, everything was great.
My server Christina was super energetic and on top of her game, even bringing me refills of my drink before my current glass was empty. And with three TVs over the bar, it was easy to make the time pass quickly. Last, if you're tired of being packed into an airport restaurants where tables are on top of each other, then give TX/MX a shot.“

“My son and I came by after his baseball tournament to try The Velvet Taco and it did not disappoint! We were so impressed, the service was great and the food was amazing. The protein bowl was delicious, and my son was obsessed with the bacon burger taco. We will definitely be stopping here again sometime on our way home !!“
