“My son and I came by after his baseball tournament to try The Velvet Taco and it did not disappoint! We were so impressed, the service was great and the food was amazing. The protein bowl was delicious, and my son was obsessed with the bacon burger taco. We will definitely be stopping here again sometime on our way home !!“

“Great time here on a thursday night w friends!! $30 marg carafes on thursdays, and tacos were good for a dallas sit-down! You pay extra for chips but so be it for downtown.

They are slightly limited on indoor seating and won't let you reserve indoor group tables unless you are a group of 3/4 or 8 (a little weird) But there was plenty of seating when we went and the patio had fans so we didn't die outside in the July heat.

Atmosphere was casual but upscale enough for a celebratory meal. Also plenty of parking. I would come here again!!“

“The trompo tacos, beans and salsas were delicious. The Rice was a bit dry and not as flavorful as I would have liked. I would give the food a solid 4.4.

You all should open your own food truck or restaurant. It would be well worth it.“

The only thing I don’t like is when you pay with card they add a fee they never tell you about and from what I know they are the ones that should be paying that fee and not the customers, also today I order enchiladas and I requested to add two extra, mind you the order comes with three, well I got charged for two orders just for adding two more, if I would of known I would of just asked for two orders.“

“I ordered the taco plate with 2 beef and 2 al pastor taco's with refried beans and rice. It was very good! The beans and rice were very tasty. The al pastor and beef taco's were amazing. They make their corn tortilla's fresh! 5 stars! Very nice people. I am very happy to support small business's that put such great effort into creating great food for their customer's. “If you find gas stations with this taqueria Taxco, its a place to go and try. We have gone to about 2 places with this name. And they both have been great. I recommend the specials the al pastor tacos are a must, ask for extra crispy and yum. They do make a good sauce, the once had them in bottles but now they are in packets. I definitely recommend the tacos al pastor a 4.5 out of 5.“

Everything was delicious especially the duck taco! The selection is unique and I’m glad I found this gem. I will definitely treat myself and my daughter to food from here again.“
