I'm from Texas, so I know tacos. The tacos were great. Korean spin on my favorite comfort food.
Stopped in here during a long layover at DFW based on the ratings. Maria the hostess greeted me with enthusiasm and seated me immediately. I took her up on her recommendation, ordering a carnitas burrito minus the lettuce (personal preference, not related to the current health concerns in the news). The burrito came out in about 5 minutes with a healthy serving of tri-color tortilla chips and salsa.

TX/MX at Dallas airport offers a delightful blend of Texas and Mexican flavors. The queso is a must-try, although some customers felt the flavor and amount could be improved. The chilaquiles remain an outstanding breakfast choice, while the margaritas and beer selection are hits with travelers. While the service can be average at times, with only one server available during busy moments, Elijah was noted for being attentive and ensuring customers made their flights on time. Some guests have stated that more variety in the dishes may be desired, and though it can be overpriced for what is received, the food is generally fresh. Whether in a hurry or with time to spare, TX/MX is worth a visit to experience the unique combination of Texas and Mexican cuisines.
