“Kind of a different review. I'm in Dallas for work. Was recommended this restaurant by the front desk at the holiday inn. Decided to check it out since it had a dog friendly patio.I have travelled with my dog for almost 10 years. We have flown almost 1 million miles together. She has accompanied me to happy hours and dinner all over the US, Mexico and western Europe. I really can't imagine going on trips without her at this point. She was diagnosed with cancer a couple months ago. I have had to feed her through a syringe for the past month. Since then she hasn't eaten solid food.We sat on the patio and we were welcomed quickly. He took my drink order and we sat and enjoyed the weather for a minute. Soon our server came with my beer and introduced herself as Bria. I never remember names but hers struck me as memorable. I saw on the website that they had their cheese fries on special. I ordered those and the Bodacious burger. Bria brought out water and a dish for my dog which I thought was very thoughtful. Food arrived well prepared and just what I was expecting. It was all very tasty and of good quality but WAY more than I was expecting. After eating half of the burger I saw my dog was kind of begging for some which she hasn't done for months. She was all about the loaded fries. Couldn't get enough of them.At this point all the memories of our travels came rushing back. A tear came to my eye as I reminisced about the meals we had spent together. I tried to keep it together but choked up a couple times. Im not sure if we are going to share any more meals together but I know this is the one I'm going to remember. A beautiful day spent with my best friend. When we were finishing up Bria brought the check and ran the cards at the table. I usually pay for drinks on my card and everything else + tip on the company card but I'm honestly not sure what I pushed. I was getting embarrassed bc I know my eyes were glossy. I hope it was fair bc Bria really was fantastic.I had half my burger and fries left over but walked out without them in my emotional stupor. I realised after getting in the car so I can back over to the gate but they were already cleaned up.I will hopefully be back on my next trip to Dallas in a better mindset. Just want to thank them and Bria for a great meal and a fantastic memory.“
“These burgers are a real gem. If you're looking for a classic American burger without all the crazy grease this is it. It's always perfectly hot when you get them and they are not really greasy which is really nice. My wife and I love coming here for a burger fix!“
“Love having so many vegan options. The food was ok but the descriptions did not seem to match the food I received. The brussel sprouts had good flavor but were overcooked. The fish consisted of mushrooms fried in cornmeal. They were dry and not great. The soupy stuff was advertised as something with cheese sauce (I forgot the name). It tasted more like a gumbo with no cheese flavor, but was good and spicy. I would probably not go again unless there were no other vegan options. I liked the gluten free bread. It seems like they tried and maybe it was just what I ordered. The presentation of the food was nice and I like that it was vegan with gluten free options.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free options“
“Got the sprouts with chicken for $20. Pricey for the portion but the taste was great! Probably too greasy though, would suggest them to ease off the oil or offer EVOO as an option. Its a Smaller place on the corner with light seating indoors and some outdoors. Street parking only.“
“I was worried that I wouldn’t like this place BUT the food is really good! I was quite surprised with the way it tasted! I had the dancehall burger, which I am craving for once again! Only thing is I wish they were a dine in restaurant and parking can be a little hard because of the location but it’s definitely worth the trip!“
“Wow great food!! Burger was amazing… the meat was friggin sensational, savory, and so flavorful! Fries were awesome with parsley bits, and the penny appetizer thing (tater tots wrapped in bacon and stuff and topped with cheese) were awesome. Friendly staff too! I wish I lived here, I’d go all the TIME!!“
“In-N-Out's burgers are always delicious. There is only a simple, small selection, which makes the decision easier. The same applies to side dishes such as fries and drinks: soft drink machine or shake in chocolate, vanilla or strawberry flavor. The burgers traditionally consist of beef patty, cheese, soft bun, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. All ingredients always taste fresh and delicious. However, you don't have to wait very long for your order. The food is picked up at the counter and the branch was clean and tidy. The staff is friendly. Classic white and red tiled ambience and fully visible kitchen. Unfortunately there is no other sauce for the fries other than ketchup, but there are free jalapeños for those who like it spicier. Another slightly negative thing I noticed was that there were no thick milkshake straws, which makes it almost impossible to drink the shakes through the thin straws. The prices are cheap. All in all, the best tasting chain burger on a budget in clean stores in CA and TX.Always my pleasure.“
“Went for lunch the place was packed. Ordered the wagyu beef burger and my friend had the regular bacon cheese burger. I also ordered the chili dog. The Wagyu burger comes cooked well it was really good. They have a full bar like fudruckers which I liked for sauces n toppings. The chili dog was meh but still good. I loved the mom n pop feel of the place. A definite must try when in Dallas“
“Great burger! Big juicy patty, not a thin smashburger style. They'll cook it to medium or well at your discretion. Not in the mood for a burger? Try the fried bologna or brisket burger! Dont forget the cheese fries or onion rings (tater tots are available as well!)“
“We stumbled on this place quite by accident and I'm so glad we did! What a wonderful breakfast! Such a true "neighborhood breakfast spot". John was incredibly friendly and the food was amazing. You could tell there were old time regulars there and also people who it was their first time as well. Everyone was greeted and treated the same, like old friends. Oh, and they made the cutest pancakes for my kids! Loved it here and will definitely come back!“
“I ordered the fish and chicken w/fries and I must say it was delicious the only thing I would have done differently is added a pepper and toasted the bread but other than that it was wonderful. We also ordered pancakes and pork chops it was good as well however I had more bone than meat. I will go back again and again!!“
“I loved this place! The burgers were bodacious! I guess that's why they have a Bodacious Burger! Lol.. I had the Ranch house Burger, which rocked! The sweet potato fries were generous and equally delish! The ranch dressing was perfect and the marmalade was perfect! I had a side of the Mango Salsa which was perfectly prepared. My hat is off to the Rodeo Goat! It was a perfect dinner... thank you for a delicious meal ?“
“Gotta say we we're pleasantly surprised. Stopped in for lunch yesterday. I had the German dog, and it was excellent. My wife had the cheeseburger, and she really enjoyed it also. We will definitely be going back. The atmosphere is really cool and the bar is huge.“
“I've always loved Kellers. They have excellent service & great food. And you can enjoy a beer or two along with your meal. Kellers has been around for many, many years. I would say that they probably started up in the 1950s, although I can't say for sure. There's no place to dine in. You sit in your car and they bring Your order to you.“
“Finally got to go a House Of Blues and it was a one of a kind experience. Was pleasantly surprised by the sizeable concert venue they had downstairs as well as how up close and personal we were able to get with the bands. Looking forward to attending more concerts here in the future.“
“I never leave reviews but they hands down have the best Nigerian food I’ve ever tasted in dallas. Very affordable & I’m obsessed. I had the Jrice with smoked & stewed chicken, the coconut fried rice, also the smoked brisket. Bro, they are really doing buy one get one free!!! This is a hidden Gem you have to try. They also close late!“
“Burger in general was amazing, huge and fries tasted great. Sadly I did pickup and didn't double check my order before I left and I think I picked up someone else's. Wish I would of been able to try the one I ordered but still great food.“
“Everything was wonderful, went with my parents and siblings for a casual dinner and the service was IMPECCABLE, every employee was extremely nice. I often feel anxious eating at a new restaurant but wasn't worried at all when ordering here. It was my first time ever having bread pudding and I'm officially a fanatic. I added avocado to my burger and they did not skimp on it at all.“
“Best #4 triple meat burger all the way with three cheeses(pepper jack, american, cheddar cheese) grilled onions, mushrooms, buns toasted on both sides. Did not disappoint at all. Service was great as well. The root beer float was light on the ice cream heavy on the root beer.“
“Only reason service got 4 stars is a couple of the cashiers are unfriendly. The rest of them are cool and polite. Security is way cool. Big Man is always looking out for not just the store but for customers as well. Very much appreciated. A little pricey but hey it's 2024. Prices on everything are rising.“
“Cheers queers! This schnitzel on pumpernickel is ridiculously delicious but Bob is afraid of the pickled cabbage so he had none. I drank the medically hazy IPA and can confirm the name is accurate. Bob draaaaank! enough draaaanks! until I talked him into souvenir t-shirts. What he doesn't know is I switched his for a ladies cut because I'm hilarious. The pretzel is delicious and mr. server man with the dreamy eyes successfully flirted his way to a bigger gratuity. Good night boys and girls.“
“Lovvved this spot!!! Vegan burger option, which was super yum and probably house made with quinoa in it.Their side sampler if ur with a group get that to share for sides. They have all u can eat picklesCane sugar soda on tap, milkshakes -which you can get alcoholicVibe was cool, and will definitely come here again in the future next time I’m in Dallas! Also big love to deep Ellum, the artsy side of Dallas ??“
“They have always lived by their name. In N out:) we are happy that we found a nice, fast food, cheese burger place for ourselves which is almost a veggie burger..Vegetarian options: Grilled cheese burger with onion, lettuce and pickleKid-friendliness: Scratch/scribble sheet or stickers“
“I have read all the positive reviews...so I decided to try their turkey burger with the sweet potato fries...I took that first bite and couldn't even open my mouth for the next bite it was so good...better than good...the entire meal was awesome...thank you so much Sankofa Kitchen and Bar...most definitely will be back “
“Upon opening the front door at Hunky's, you're greeted with a positive vibe and welcoming smiles. The menu has quite a few offerings, and each one we tried was excellent. It was also a pleasant addition that there was a staff member checking on tables, topping off drinks and making sure you have everything you need. We've been there twice now and thoroughly enjoyed the Hunky's experience, and plan to go back whenever we're in the area next.If you like a good burger with fresh ingredients, and sides like crunchy onion rings, you can't go wrong - and the prices are not near what you will pay at many other similar establishments.“
“Always love eating at In-N-Out had no idea there was one in Texas. I was born and raised in California. We have many.Order on secret menu3 x 3 mustard fried patties, raw onions,Hope you can get your mouth around it?Vegetarian options: You can ask for a grilled cheeseParking: Only been there twice and was able to park right out front both timesKid-friendliness: Always see families with their children there also hang out for teenagers they like the inside soda bar free refills.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, this is the new style in and out design extremely accessible“
“Vanessa was our server and everything just seemed rushed she was not attentive to our party of just 4 food was good very good atmosphere our server could've been much better Mimosas was very good a little pricey but overall good besides the “
“Man, this place was fantastic. We went early in the day, the day before St. Patrick's Day, so the staff was dressed a little more (at least, I ASSUME a little more) Irish to celebrate. It wasn't busy when we got there. Very nice selection of alcohol, especially if you enjoy something other than Bud Light or similar light weight beers. My husband and I shared the spicy Wisconsin cheese curds, and then I indulged in some Scotch eggs while he had the fish and chips. SO GOOD, every last bite! And the fish was HUGE, not some dinky little sliver of tilapia or whatever some places like to serve.Parking was located in a garage attached to the building next door - it's free for the first 2 hours if you have the pub validate the parking. We loved it, and if we lived closer I would definitely go much more frequently.“
“First walking in the staff is very nice and welcoming! We got seated right away! It was our first time here so they gave us plenty of time to figure out what we wanted. I have food allergies and they were more than happy to make accommodations for me! We were always checked on to make sure our table was good! Definitely 10/10 love this place and the atmosphere here! Would definitely reccomend!“
“Fresh food, great customer service, I came in 15 before close (I know we hate that) but everybody was still working hard and friendly.Burger was delicious, fries could have cooked longer, but I had queso to make up for it!Parking: Had security drive thew often“
“(Translated by Google) Excellent attention from Erik and all the food very rich including the sauces. My very rich and juicy burger. I recommend this place.(Original)Excelente atencion de parte de Erik y toda la comida muy rica incluyendo las salsas. Mi hamburguesa bien rica y jugosa. Recomiendo este lugar.“
“Portions huge!!! Affordable!! Excellent flavor with fresh ingredients and beefy taste. The onion rings are superb and fresh cut, hand battered and served promptly.Steady stream of regular customers with a warm gracious staff eager to please. If visiting Dallas you must stop in Harvey Bs.“
“I just discovered that Jonathan’s has opened a 2nd location in North Dallas off Forest and Inwood and highly recommend all you foodies check this place out. The food was fantastic, friendly service & huge portions. Their gravy is the absolute best! They also serve salads, healthy breakfast items, sandwiches and are open until 3:00 every day.“
“I almost didn't order the animal style potatoes and yesterday I craved them but they gave them to me with very burnt onions and they tasted bad ☹️My other companions were served well, just for the sake of experience to check if their onion is very burnt.I really like these burgers but I didn't enjoy them yesterday.“
“I had a special burger with hot Cheetos crusted on the bun. I was a little skeptical but it was actually SO good! I squeezed some lime and it was…. chef’s kiss. Loaded tots are also BANGING and their margaritas! Totally would come back again and recommend!!!“
“I stopped in at Jake's with a friend of mine after we went to the Dallas Boat show and this place is still fantastic even after all these years.... I first visited this location in 1985 and the burgers were great back then and they're still great now.... I'm 68 years old and I've eaten a lot of good burgers and these burgers are one of the best if not the best burgers I've ever had in my life... If you've never tried a Jake's Burger you don't know what you're missing!!“
“i've been coming here since it first opened! the one in oak cliff is definitely better than the one in grand prairie. The location in oak cliff was right next to my elementary school so my dad would always take me. Definitely would recommend the mayotle sauce with the regular beef cheesesteak. The service is always nice.“
“Delicious!!!All three sliders we shared (PB&J, frikka tika, bison buffalo blue) were on point. The batter on the onion rings was YUMMY. To top it off we had the cookie butter shake. I couldn't stop praising my wife for finding this amazing spot to grab a quick bite.“
“Whiskers is the epitome of "hole in the wall". But I'll go as far as saying this, they have the best catfish in all of dfw. Food is always fresh, they give you a little more than what you buy. Their seasoning on the fish and color are perfect! We've never had a bad batch! No lies told....go see for yourself.“
“Came in a little later on a weeknight, but service was still amazing and food was delicious. The crawfish was some of the best I’ve ever had, and the level was spice was perfect — there was a kick but I was not in pain from it. Jordan, our server, was extremely attentive, explaining the menu and offering different options. He made our experience the best it could possibly be.“
“Excellent place. Very delicious food. Clean place. The people who serve are very friendly, but the tacos are delicious, the tortilla soaked in its D.F.-type fat. although we know they are from Monterrey but if they are delicious I recommend them 100%“
“Beautiful large patio, great food & service! Lots of extra space to host parties/birthday gatherings. Massive patio screen for sports events/viewings. Best loaded nachos i’ve have around! Truly a hidden gem spot to enjoy nice weather and food!Also- there’s a large extra parking lot across the building!Parking: 2 free parking lots off of Greenville and free street parkingKid-friendliness: Patio is perfect for kids to explore while adults can eat during less busy hours!“
“I was in town from Houston on business. The Sous Chef in Dallas recommended that I came to Sky Rocket. Rose greeted me at the counter then Jay and Carlos blew my mind with my awesome Double with cheese with almost everything available added on. Now when I come back to Dallas from Houston I will be back! Thank you again Rose, Jay and Carlos!!“
“Overall, a fancier dining place. Lovely decor and atmosphere. A little pricey but the food was good - we had the eggs Benedict, breakfast tacos and a shared breakfast potato dish. Highchairs are available for children but I don’t believe there was a kids menu so we ordered a bagel / cream cheese for our child.“
“We had outstanding service from our waiter, Drew, who helped us out with some dietary restrictions. The french fries are delicious as an appetizer and everyone enjoyed their entrées. We like this restaurant because it has a nice convivial feel to it.“
“Delicious root beer float on a hot summer day in Texas! Old-Fashioned combination at a wonderful drive up location! Been here a very long time! Proved that great customer service keeps loyal generations coming back! Bling Blinky of Texas Shout Out: Y’all get one soon! “
“Ok, if you like In and Out Burger, it's hard to beat this location. Clean....really clean, friendly, food was fresh. I'm just not an In and Out fan personally. 5 stars though because they had this place in shape! Great job! Keep it up.“
“We came here for the AFC championship game. It was not that busy which was nice but still a good crowd watching the game. Service was good, our waitress was prompt with getting us food and drinks. They have a huge 4 panel TV in there but the resolution on it was actually really bad so we ended watching the smaller TV's off to the side more than the big one. The food was fine. It was decent enough for bar food. We weren't coming here for a meal and we knew that. We were coming to drink a beer and watch a game and the food was just a bonus on the side. I certainly would not come back just to eat there but I think if you're going for a game with friends the food is good enough that it's not in your way. It seems to be kid friendly too as they have 3 or 4 arcade games. The patio was big and spacious, it was cold when we went but when it warms up that would be a great spot to watch a game.“
“Babe surprise me with this spot for his Birthday weekend… I love the atmosphere. The server was very attentive, friendly and welcoming answering ALL of my questions. #BlackOwned ??????Parking: Free parking after Brunch. We parked on the side street below the establishment and walked up the hill. I t was worth EVERY STEP WE TOOK??“
“We went immediately after the eclipse. It was packed. Our poor waitress was at her wit's end. The food and drink options were great. My wife enjoyed a draft cider, which was dry (read "not too sweet"). It seems like a popular place for locals, too.“
