Got the Bayou Chimichanga to fill the hole Casa Del Vegano left in my heart. It was so tasty and if you know about their portion sizes, you know the chimis are gigantic.
We will definitely be making more of an effort to get out from Plano to go here! The menu is very robust, and there's so much we want to try.

What a great place. Loved it! So many choices and everything we selected was sooooo gooooood
This is my second time here. I had the vegan shrimp and grits. One of the best meals I've had in years

Vegan Food House is a popular restaurant in Dallas, known for its delicious and satisfying vegan dishes. The menu offers a variety of options, with standout meals including the cauliflower steak dinner, patty melt, lasagna, grits with gravy, and blueberry lemonade. The cheesy grits, mac and cheese, and stuffed jalapeños are especially praised. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and attentive, making it a great place for both vegans and non-vegans. The Southern-fried "catch" and hush puppies are highly recommended for those new to vegan food. Customers have noted that the portions are healthy and generous.
The Nashville Hot Chick'em Sandwich, featuring crispy and juicy oyster mushrooms with a sweet and tangy slaw, is a customer favorite. The Uptown Burger, made from Beyond Meat, has also caught attention. Customers have raved about the excellent seasoning and flavor of the food, particularly the fried cauliflower and mushroom dishes. The fries are tasty, and the Pomegranate Limeade and Brown Sugar Lemonade are must-try drinks. The Lemon Cupcake is a delightful dessert option.
