“Cool vibe with coffee/whiskey& lots of seating for young professionals and college students to sit and get some work done.

Amazing selection of bourbon.... sat solo at the bar took what felt like 10 min to even get acknowledged. The batista seemed to be training and the others preoccupied with refilling their stations and doing other tasks.

They didn't have a list of the bourbons or their prices so I had to ask a few times and they looked it up in the computer.
Prices are good but not the best for the area (but still way better then where I'm from)

I would love to come back and check out their jazz nights and maybe order food next time“

“This was an amazing experience! The barista was wonderful (wish I’d gotten his name). He was patient while I made my decision and offered great advice on a selection. The coffee, while just black, was amazing in flavor. To my surprise they offer free ice water in both still and sparkling and copper cups to boot! The decor is a fun, shabby-chic and the vibe is welcoming, warm and friendly. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town!“

“I came here to catch up with a friend and we had a pleasant experience. The drinks weren’t top notch, but the staff was nice and they have study rooms/outside area and it’s overall a nice place for typical business or study sessions. I had a latte and my friend had the chai tea.“

“What a nice space - but really cold! Hubby and I went for lunch. The steak sandwich was good, I just wish the steak was in slices rather than pieces that kept falling out. I don't like horseradish so I asked about an alternative but was told that the vinegarette sauce would be enough. It wasn't so if I were to order this sandwich again I'd request extra vinegarette. The fries were nice and crispy, the chocolate croissant was ok but not as soft as I expected it to be. Hubby enjoyed his veggie omelet and sweet potato-yukon hash. He did not like the light roast cofee at all though. Overall we liked Ascension enough to try them again, hopefully when it's cool enough to sit outside.“

“I have eaten the recipes at AG Texican for years! Abel comes from a family who owned other amazing restaurants in Dallas in the past. He carries on their tradition with his amazing recipes and an atmosphere that feels like home every time you come in! Abel may be considered “fried Jesus” to some but he is the guy who carries on the tradition of the first and best TexMex I’ve ever eaten! I HIGHLY recommend AG Texican!“

“I had the pleasure of visiting Starship Bagel in downtown Dallas twice, and both experiences were fantastic. The first time, I tried the sesame bagel with a cream cheese spread, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and just the right texture. We enjoyed it so much that we went back again and tried the Supernova lox sandwich, which was equally impressive. The service is super friendly and fast, and the place is clean and welcoming. Definitely recommend Starship Bagel if you’re in the area!“

“This place is such a hidden gem!!! My friend recommended this place to me because it had great reviews and we were over in that area together so we decided to try it! I got the brown sugar iced coffee with the sun and moon bagel and it was some of the best food AND coffee I’ve ever had!!! Carolina provided great service, answered all of my questions and help guided me to my food choice that I ended up going with. This may be an unpopular opinion but I would say this place is better than Starbucks + La La land ?10/10 recommend!!! ?“

“This place is such an underrated coffee place, but I think this is exactly what they're aiming for. Excellent baristas, expert recommendations, classic drinks, or high quality matchas. You could be in a different coffee mood every day and they can find a perfect combo for you. I really don't drink anything other than black coffee, but I'll drink anything they recommend or make for me. I will happily make the trek from Plano all the way to Oak Cliff for them. Highly recommend. Don't forget they also have to-go packs of coffee. Wish I could recommend just one, but I go in and buy ALL of them. Don't sleep on Peaberry.“
