“This little joint has been an East Dallas treasure for some time. When you think of mom's home made breakfast. Best describes Gold Rush, from the fluffiest pancakes which IMHO is their clame to fame. I might order a tradional fried egg and bacon breakfast, but bet your bottom dollar it's coming with a short stack of pancakes. As you imagine the tastiest ham slice. remember that they do lunch. fall apart pot roast, hamburgers will not disappoint, chicken fried steak, why not have an omelet for brunch, they'll do it just right. It's not a big place in any way. You get there and you see an empty table go ahead and seat yourself. if there's a short line. you might have to stand between 5 and 8 minutes but everyone in line is cordial. when guests leave their table, grab it, even if it hasn't been cleared off very shortly someone will come by a cleaned your table. while you wait hopefully a member of staff already given you a menu. Be ready when someone takes your order. and the place can be hopping. Give it a shot, I'm sure you will find your visit enjoyable and the food done right.“

From the shish kabob to the hummus to the rice and fried cauliflower and lamb meatball and even the baklava with ice cream suggested by our waitress, we fell in love with a new authentic Turkish restaurant! “Afternoon tea at NM Cafe in Neiman Marcus at Northpark Center was very nice. The service from Sharon was amazing and the teas were delicious. The sandwiches were good, although a bit under seasoned. The chocolate croissant was delicious but the scones were very small although the real clotted cream was nice. The sweets we not bad but there were too many macarons which were not to our liking. Overall, I give it a 4.5/5“

“Food and coffee was fantastic. My mom had the vegan tacos and said they were delicious. Vegan sausage was really good. I had the sourdough toast and local jam - really good. Do not pass this up! I had the Goldie and added a shot of espresso- literal perfection! Only downside- sitting outside can be hot and the flies were aggressive. Ask for a table fan! Wait staff was accommodating!“

“This place is amazing, we were visiting Dallas for an event and just happened to stumble on this gem. The sandwiches were amazing and the next day we ended up getting breakfast from a different location. This place hands down the best sandwiches I've ever had. They even got cold beer and a nice selection at that, I was able to grab one and sit outside while chowing down. Can you really ask for anything more then a cold one and some nice good food?“
