Skip Starbucks and go here instead. The atmosphere is yes, with fantastic options for both indoor and outdoor seating, and the 5-star reviews truly do not lie. “Five stars. Haraz gave me exactly what I want from a coffee shop: something distinctive, beautifully presented, and worth remembering.

I ordered the Sana’ani, a black coffee infused with cardamom. It was rich, fragrant, and smooth, with the cardamom complementing the coffee instead of covering it. I enjoyed it so much that I bought one of their coffee cups.

Then came the desserts: a silky matcha dome cake, warm Bee Bites filled with cream cheese and drizzled with honey, and a creamy coconut cheesecake coated in coconut and finished with a tiny dried rose. All three were excellent.

The entire shop is warm and inviting, with beautiful Yemeni-inspired details throughout. Everything felt intentional, from the atmosphere to the presentation. This was my first visit, and it definitely will not be my last.“

Best describes Gold Rush, from the fluffiest pancakes which IMHO is their clame to fame. I might order a tradional fried egg and bacon breakfast, but bet your bottom dollar it's coming with a short stack of pancakes. As you imagine the tastiest ham slice. remember that they do lunch. fall apart pot roast, hamburgers will not disappoint, chicken fried steak, why not have an omelet for brunch, they'll do it just right. It's not a big place in any way. You get there and you see an empty table go ahead and seat yourself. if there's a short line. you might have to stand between 5 and 8 minutes but everyone in line is cordial. when guests leave their table, grab it, even if it hasn't been cleared off very shortly someone will come by a cleaned your table. while you wait hopefully a member of staff already given you a menu. Be ready when someone takes your order. and the place can be hopping. Give it a shot, I'm sure you will find your visit enjoyable and the food done right.“

“I've been eating a Cafe Max forever since their Richardson location. They are always very generous with their salad portions and a single takeout box can last me almost 2 meals. All the different salads are well dressed and well made. The zucchini carrot muffin that comes with the salad is delicious! My only minor nitpick is the chicken is often a little chewy even though they've dressed it to make it not as dry.“

It was pretty quiet during dinner, which made me think maybe people assume it’s only a brunch spot and don’t come in the evening. Honestly, it’s a hidden gem for dinner and perfect for a relaxed meal with family. Definitely one of those great local spots you’ll want to go back to.“

The hostess had on a big sweater, so this must be a common occurrence. Food was good, if a bit pricey, but fries came out less than hot. The service seemed to lag and dessert wasn't offered.“

“Kolaches (or kolbasneks if you wanna be prissy about it) here vary. When they're good they are astounding and when they're not good, it's mildly disappointing. Like I would avoid the ones with eggs because despite what the sign says, it's always almost exclusively eggs. Just about every other one is top tier. Even the standard jalapeno and cheese is one of the best I've had outside of Czech Stop, and much more local.“

“Afternoon tea at NM Cafe in Neiman Marcus at Northpark Center was very nice. The service from Sharon was amazing and the teas were delicious. The sandwiches were good, although a bit under seasoned. The chocolate croissant was delicious but the scones were very small although the real clotted cream was nice. The sweets we not bad but there were too many macarons which were not to our liking. Overall, I give it a 4.5/5“

“I love the drinks I get here. My family gets brown sugar boba (sometimes with traditional boba, sometimes with coffee jelly) and I get the Ube milk tea or the Thai milk tea. They’re always delicious, with friendly service.

The owner is always patient with my questions when I want to try something new. The rose tea, matcha and the coconut milk tea are also in my rotation.

The claw machine is fun too, not expensive and quite easy to win a prize.“

“We met a friend that eats here all the time. It is like a place out of time. The food tasty but you have yo flexible because you might run into a homeless person in the parking lot and the restaurant is a bit dated. But, it is a family run restaurant that has a lot of charm.

I had the Huevos Mexicanos, Refried Beans, and Corn Tortillas. Everything was tasty. Just in case you have anyone that wants Waffles, they only have Pancakes.

The service was prompt and our waitress checked on us multiple times.

The parking is a little tight on Sunday mornings. They do have a lot of patrons from the hotel behind them.

If you are open to a not so fancy diner from the past, you should definitely go for a visit.“
