An unforgettable culinary experience at Mercat Bistro. French cuisine exactly as you imagine it should be — elegant, rich, and beautifully executed. The foie gras was exquisite, absolutely the highlight of the evening. A little piece of France in Dallas.
Magnifique! I love coming here. The vibe is classy without feeling stiff, and the whole place is spotless. The staff is warm and attentive, and the food never misses. I had the salmon and it was incredible, perfectly cooked with a generous portion. Several people in our group went out of their way to say what a great pick it was. Plus, they have a private room for events, which is great to know for next time.
My husband and I both enjoyed our dinner on Sunday evening. We went to enjoy the 5 course menu offered as part of Dallas restaurant week. Each course was perfectly and offered a chance to sample some items not normally on the menu. Service here was outstanding throughout the meal. It can get a little loud depending on the crowd size but you can still have a conversation at the table. This place is a true neighborhood gem not to be missed.
