Saint Ann Restaurant & Bar Reviews
Pricey, but worth it. Best ambience in the area. Great for social, family, business, etc...
We always choose Saint Ann when we are in town for a concert at American Airlines and it's always a great experience! Our food was amazing (my husband said it was the best chicken fried steak he has ever had, and that's saying something!) Our server was friendly and attentive and made us feel like valued guests. I love that we always have a consistently good experience here!
We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Saint Ann. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! We ate indoors but with all the glass it felt like we were outside without having to endure the heat of a Texas summer. We don't typically order dessert but everything was so good we splurged and had the key lime pie. We even got to see one of their neighborhood squirrels, Maxine. She was adorable! We will definitely be back!

Saint Ann Restaurant & Bar is a clean and classy place known for its excellent service and delicious food. The staff, including the hostess and server, are friendly and attentive, making guests feel welcome. They go the extra mile to ensure everyone, even children, feels comfortable. Despite the busy atmosphere, a table of ten was served promptly and comfortably. The food, which includes a variety of appetizers and entrees, is praised for its fresh flavor and quality. The desserts are a highlight, especially the carrot cake with a bunny on top and the chocolate torte with cherries, which received high praise from reviewers. The decor is very cool, combining old and new styles with original exposed brick, artifacts, and antique photographs contrasted by a modern bar and glass staircase. The beautiful patio area offers a shaded oasis with large umbrellas and trees, perfect for a relaxing meal outdoors. The restaurant's location in a historic landmark, originally an old schoolhouse, adds to its charm. The staff is attentive, and the portions are fair for the price, with options to accommodate dietary restrictions. The extensive patio and relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere make it a great spot for a return visit. The restaurant also features the Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum, showcasing Japanese Samurai culture, which is free to the public. Recent reviews highlight the amazing private dinner menu and the opulent atmosphere, with guests praising the service and the fresh, tasty food. The happy hour experience has also been well-received, with cocktails like the Sparkling Cherry Blossom and Lavender Fizz, along with flavorful appetizers such as deviled eggs and meatballs, making it a great deal at $7 each.
Guests have noted that reservations sometimes lead to unexpected seating arrangements, with some having to sit at the bar due to staff being overwhelmed. Brunch is enjoyed for its quiet ambiance and excellent food, such as smoked brisket hash, with attentive service from Will. The inside can be very cold, likened to refrigerator cold, which may be uncomfortable for some. Overall, Saint Ann's is praised as a lovely restaurant with delicious food and impeccable service, making it a popular choice for special occasions like a 70th birthday. Many plan to return to enjoy its inviting atmosphere and quality offerings.
