I came to the reviews to see if anyone had experienced the “ weird energy” when walking in… and turns out I wasn’t the only one.The team seemed like they hated their jobs (I get it, it was raining lol)… and when greeted by our server, he was extremely unwelcoming. I've eaten brunch at Ascension several times now at various locations, but Design District is hands down my favorite for the service! I've been helped multiple times by Andrew and enjoying delicious food and drinks at the bar while watching him interact with the rest of the staff is always an absolute joy. He also has great taste in coffee and can recommend something for just about everyone!

Yummy breakfast. I liked that there was table service as well as to-go-line. Busy but had free valet. That made a difference because parking would have been impossible. Coffee was excellent.
