I ordered the Aperol during happy hour, and it was pretty good. The bartender was nice, and the area looked nice.
I also ordered the endless fries, but when I wanted to get a refill, was told I had to stay in the bar area to get more than one portion, which didn’t really make sense. And when I finally got a refill, the portion was about half the size of the original serving.

Not what we expected from such a well known hotel brand. There was 1 bartender and 1 server for service on a Saturday night. Which made things take a long time. Overall atmosphere and decor reminded us of a generic hotel buffet restaurant. Food was good, but could use some more options. A guest had 2 dogs walking around the restaurant which really ruined the vibe. Overall, a lack luster experience.

Commons Club is a fantastic restaurant located inside the Virgin Hotel, known for its beautiful ambiance and spacious layout. It offers spectacular food prepared by Chef Andy and excellent customer service from attentive staff. The restaurant features a cozy and well-decorated environment with a great atmosphere created by a 70's/80's playlist and live music. The menu is small but offers flavorful dishes, including BBQ shrimp, Short rib, and shrimp with grit cake, all well presented and balanced in flavor. Many guests enjoy the fresh and delicious food, as well as the great drinks like virgin cocktails and one of the best cosmos. The restaurant is quiet during certain times, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. Special events such as Saturday ladies day and an espresso martini setup are hosted here. Recently, a Mariah Carey-themed bar was introduced, featuring festive décor and cocktails. The staff is friendly and helpful, with managers often stopping by to ensure guests have a good experience. Notably, Justin has received praise for his amazing service, keeping guests engaged and satisfied. Overall, Commons Club offers a wonderful dining experience with enjoyable meals, a great vibe, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a place worth returning to.
