“I've been here twice a year a part. I've never had Turkish food, but MAN am I blown away. My favorite foods are the Borek and the pistachio-based Turkish delights. You also HAVE to get the Turkish coffee. It's not for everyone, but all coffee-lovers have to try it once. It's required! Also, prices are very reasonable, the staff are friendly, and I like the big windows facing the park!“

“You want Cuban food? Well this place is legit. The Cuban or the Ropa Vejia, sandwich tastes awesome. Couple that with a Pappa Rellena and you will go away delightfully full. The Fritta Cubana (Cuban Hamburger) is my favorite at the moment. And don't forget to try a Pastelito with a Cuban coffee for dessert. The food is always served fresh along with very friendly service. M&D“

“Stopped in today with my hubby. It was wonderful! Great ambience with cool wooden floors that the owner installed himself. Who, by the way, is a super nice gentleman. We had a blueberry scone and hot fresh croissant from the oven and they both were excellent! Baked with European butter as described by the owner/baker! We washed them down with a hot mocha and cappuccino that were chef’s kiss perfect! If you haven’t been, just go. You’ll be glad you did!“

“This little joint has been an East Dallas treasure for some time. When you think of mom's home made breakfast. Best describes Gold Rush, from the fluffiest pancakes which IMHO is their clame to fame. I might order a tradional fried egg and bacon breakfast, but bet your bottom dollar it's coming with a short stack of pancakes. As you imagine the tastiest ham slice. remember that they do lunch. fall apart pot roast, hamburgers will not disappoint, chicken fried steak, why not have an omelet for brunch, they'll do it just right. It's not a big place in any way. You get there and you see an empty table go ahead and seat yourself. if there's a short line. you might have to stand between 5 and 8 minutes but everyone in line is cordial. when guests leave their table, grab it, even if it hasn't been cleared off very shortly someone will come by a cleaned your table. while you wait hopefully a member of staff already given you a menu. Be ready when someone takes your order. and the place can be hopping. Give it a shot, I'm sure you will find your visit enjoyable and the food done right.“

“My friend was craving an açaí bowl, so I Googled “açaí bowl near me,” and Bora Bora popped up. It was only 3 minutes away from where we were, so the three of us decided to pull up.

I was craving rice, so I got myself Chipotle. Big mistake. I should’ve trusted the owner and gone with their savory croffle sandwiches instead!

We ordered two to start, and we were immediately blown away. In the middle of my Chipotle bite, I was like, “Let me finish this for lunch and get myself a croffle sandwich.” 🤣

I ended up getting the Labna Zatar, and between the three of us, we tried the Labna Zatar, Salmon, Halloumi, and Turkey croffle sandwiches. Every single one was a 10/10. The flavors, the croffle, everything!

And the açaí bowl? Also amazing. I’m not even an açaí bowl person, but this one was soooo good.

Safe to say, Bora Bora was an unexpected find, and I’m already thinking about my next visit. 🤍“

“My cousin and I visited the Cafe this morning for breakfast. Our waiter - Phillip - was amazing! However, the food this time was a little disappointing. My cousin ate her grits and I had the Frech Toast. We also had bacon and potatoes. The bacon was not cooked the way we wanted. A new order was made, but still not satisfactory. And it was very salty. So we did not eat the bacon. Normally the food is outstanding but today's visit was a little off.“

“It was about time to have a place like this in the DFW area! The food, the coffee and pastries are fantastic and took me back to where I’m from. Everything in this place tells you a story, from the beautiful South American map on the wall, to the design of the cups, the store’s atmosphere, on and on… You will have more than excellent food, you will have a great experience and tons of nostalgia, and if you’re not from South America, you’ll have a great taste of our culture.“

“Simply Amazing!! I was craving breakfast but the time was 11:30 exactly and I did not know the breakfast hours here as this was my first visit. I asked the sweet lady who greeted me when I came in if I could still get breakfast and she told me yes. I ordered 2 eggs over eazy, 2 strips of bacon, 1 bisquit w/gravy and hasbrowns for take out. Just a simple breakfast. I got back to my office and started to eat and was amazed at how great this simple breakfast tasted. This is my new go to Cafe. Great Food. Great Friendly Service and an Amazing View as well. Give this little spot a try, you'll be glad that you did.“

“It's tucked away in a corner beside the post office, but the atmosphere is very nice and not too busy! The desserts are not overly sweet and the onigiri are fresh and made to order.
I'd recommend both the taro obanyaki and miso salmon onigiri.“

“The open concept makes it a little noisy, even though it wasn't a full house. Perhaps some carpets around would help. It was also way too cold. The hostess had on a big sweater, so this must be a common occurrence. Food was good, if a bit pricey, but fries came out less than hot. The service seemed to lag and dessert wasn't offered.“

“This is an absolute gem of a place! The Chipotle Chicken sandwich was one of the best I've ever had and the coffee was perfection! I don't like overly sweet coffee, the half sweet was just right with an amazing smooth coffee taste. I just wish this place was bigger so I could come work here and try their entire menu, one item a day. Staff was also so very friendly! 10/10 recommend!“

From the shish kabob to the hummus to the rice and fried cauliflower and lamb meatball and even the baklava with ice cream suggested by our waitress, we fell in love with a new authentic Turkish restaurant! The veggie and meat sampler offers excellent value and the sambusa was nice and crispy with a good amount of spiciness.
