The veggie and meat sampler offers excellent value and the sambusa was nice and crispy with a good amount of spiciness. The taste of each of the veggie items was pretty good and comparable to others good Ethiopian places in DFW.“

“You want Cuban food? Well this place is legit. The Cuban or the Ropa Vejia, sandwich tastes awesome. Couple that with a Pappa Rellena and you will go away delightfully full. The Fritta Cubana (Cuban Hamburger) is my favorite at the moment. And don't forget to try a Pastelito with a Cuban coffee for dessert. “Stopped in today with my hubby. It was wonderful! Great ambience with cool wooden floors that the owner installed himself. Who, by the way, is a super nice gentleman. We had a blueberry scone and hot fresh croissant from the oven and they both were excellent! Baked with European butter as described by the owner/baker! We washed them down with a hot mocha and cappuccino that were chef’s kiss perfect! If you haven’t been, just go. You’ll be glad you did!“

“My friend was craving an açaí bowl, so I Googled “açaí bowl near me,” and Bora Bora popped up. It was only 3 minutes away from where we were, so the three of us decided to pull up.

I was craving rice, so I got myself Chipotle. Big mistake. I should’ve trusted the owner and gone with their savory croffle sandwiches instead!

We ordered two to start, and we were immediately blown away. In the middle of my Chipotle bite, I was like, “Let me finish this for lunch and get myself a croffle sandwich.” 🤣

I ended up getting the Labna Zatar, and between the three of us, we tried the Labna Zatar, Salmon, Halloumi, and Turkey croffle sandwiches. Every single one was a 10/10. The flavors, the croffle, everything!

And the açaí bowl? Also amazing. I’m not even an açaí bowl person, but this one was soooo good.

Safe to say, Bora Bora was an unexpected find, and I’m already thinking about my next visit. 🤍“

“I've been here twice a year a part. I've never had Turkish food, but MAN am I blown away. My favorite foods are the Borek and the pistachio-based Turkish delights. You also HAVE to get the Turkish coffee. It's not for everyone, but all coffee-lovers have to try it once. It's required! Also, prices are very reasonable, the staff are friendly, and I like the big windows facing the park!“

“My cousin and I visited the Cafe this morning for breakfast. Our waiter - Phillip - was amazing! However, the food this time was a little disappointing. My cousin ate her grits and I had the Frech Toast. We also had bacon and potatoes. The bacon was not cooked the way we wanted. A new order was made, but still not satisfactory. And it was very salty. So we did not eat the bacon. Normally the food is outstanding but today's visit was a little off.“

“Promenade is such a nice cozy café. The owner is friendly. She acknowledges us and welcomes us back everytime we go there. I thought that was a very nice personal touch. I don't like overly sweet coffee, the half sweet was just right with an amazing smooth coffee taste. “Boba latte, a place where they serve great boba and take pride in their customers! I practically live down the street from this place and come here every other day. Out of the many times I’ve been there, I had 1 small bad experience. Management personally called me and apologized for that circumstance. A friendly call can go a long way and so can simply letting your customer vent. When all the other boba places close their doors, this place is still open making the best boba in town! I’m happy to have found my spot. 😊“

Homemade ranch dressing was light and not oily! \nI had the club sandwich. Everything was cut thick, ham, turkey and fried bacon. Everything was fresh! \nThey have Mexican food on the menu as well and served chips and salsa when you arrive. \nThe ice tea was fresh and offered sweet tea and wasn’t icky sweet 👏🏻🙌🏻. Enough food for a “to-go box”. No room for dessert but I’m sure they are delicious too. Friendly and attentive waitresses. \nWe will be back if every in this area.“

“The weather in Texas suddenly turned quite hot today. On top of that, I had already finished the water in my bottle, so I found this drink shop nearby. They offer a full range of coffee and other beverages, and the space is designed just right, comfortable and inviting.

I chose a mango green tea with lemon. It tasted light and refreshing, not too sweet, and nicely chilled. It turned out to be a perfect spot during my afternoon schedule to rest my legs, stretch a bit, and take a proper break.“
