“I don't even write reviews, that alone should say a lot. But ever since Brothermans BBQ shut down on the southside, I've been looking for a new BBQ spot in Dallas. Most of these BBQ places are trash. I went in here and placed a to go order for sausage, brisket, and mac & cheese. Got to my car and the smell was too good. I couldn't even wait to exit the parking lot. So I took two bites of the brisket like any big back would. I then proceeded to close my plate, exit my car, and got back in line. Basically... I'm a regular now.”

I started out with the Tzatziki with Pita bread, then the succulent shrimp scampi, I would definitely recommend this duo it was heaven to my palate! To finish off I had to try dessert, I had the Apple empanada & dulce de leche ice cream, it was luxurious and delectable, I savored every bite! And that was thanks to Mousafa’s description, he’s an excellent waiter, he knew the menu well, very impressive! Very attentive, friendly demeanor, with a wonderful attitude! I’ll be back! Orders do take around 30-45 min, sometimes longer on busier nights but its made with love so worth the wait.

Everything was as clean as you could expect out of a quick turnaround diner. Plates lined up waiting to be filled with plates behind them waiting to be lined up.
Food was wonderful. Meets everything you want out of a Waffle House. Fresh, hot, and tasty.
If you want a sit down, cloth napkin in lap, multi fork meal... keep driving. If you want something good to eat, fast, fresh and made to order served with a smile... go on in.

Even there there rice and baracho beans are way better than anywhere I've ever had. Everything I've had here is great but listen to me when I tell you, GET THE STEAK TACOS!!!
the tenderness and flavor will blow your mind, definitely not what your used to in a street taco! And the sautéed onions are amazing!!!
And the owner/chef is awesome, always super friendly and talkative, and to my suprise even answered my questions when I was asking how he gets his tacos so tender.

“You know this is authentic when we struggled a bit with the menu. Thankfully we were assigned someone who spoke English and was amazing. We had someone with peanuts allergies and he went back to check if they could make an accommodation. He was amazing and patient with us. Best of all, no peanut allergy reaction.
We tried the spicy beef and cahn bun Oc and both had bold flavors. Make sure you add the shrimp paste that comes on the side. Both broths were sweet and savory and had an umami bomb. We added chilli to it and it took the soup to the next level.
The Bun Nem Nuong Cha Gio was very fresh and the sauces complimented the dish.
The menu has English descriptions for most of the dishes and Google translate can help there wasn’t pictures for each dish. However, I learned that next time is much better to look at all the dishes displayed in the TVs surrounding the dining room and point at the dish the looks the best.
We went for a late lunch in a Saturday and it was 1/4 - 1/2 full. Plenty of space and the A/C was set perfectly for a bowl of comforting noodle soup.”

“I went to Mi Pueblito with my wife to watch the Colombian futbol (soccer) game. It's worth noting that when Colombia plays you have to get reservations in order to get a seat or table.
The food was excellent, and according to my wife it was authentic Colombian food. My one minor gripe on the food was we ordered a combination platter that was quite expensive because it came with something special. I think it came with steak or something like that. Apparently they were out of the steak because of the huge crowd. Not a big deal, but they still charged full price. Fortunately my wife is a native Spanish speaker and we got it sorted. If you only speak English you may have trouble ordering food or explaining what you want.
I wasn't prepared for the atmosphere. Nothing could have possibly prepared me for it. The level of energy and excitement that everyone in that restaurant felt and shared whenever Colombia made a goal cannot be captured with words.
The craziest thing was that even though it's a full on bar as well as a restaurant, people were bringing children. Small children. Babies even! But it kind of added to the atmosphere of joy and excitement.
If you're wanting to check out some authentic Colombian food, Mi Pueblito Is a great choice. But if you really want to experience this place, come sometime when a soccer game is going on. It's totally amazing. Great drinks too.

I started out with the Tzatziki with Pita bread, then the succulent shrimp scampi, I would definitely recommend this duo it was heaven to my palate! To finish off I had to try dessert, I had the Apple empanada & dulce de leche ice cream, it was luxurious and delectable, I savored every bite! And that was thanks to Mousafa’s description, he’s an excellent waiter, he knew the menu well, very impressive! Very attentive, friendly demeanor, with a wonderful attitude! I’ll be back! “You know this is authentic when we struggled a bit with the menu. Thankfully we were assigned someone who spoke English and was amazing. We had someone with peanuts allergies and he went back to check if they could make an accommodation. He was amazing and patient with us. Best of all, no peanut allergy reaction.
We tried the spicy beef and cahn bun Oc and both had bold flavors. Make sure you add the shrimp paste that comes on the side. Both broths were sweet and savory and had an umami bomb. We added chilli to it and it took the soup to the next level.
The Bun Nem Nuong Cha Gio was very fresh and the sauces complimented the dish.
The menu has English descriptions for most of the dishes and Google translate can help there wasn’t pictures for each dish. However, I learned that next time is much better to look at all the dishes displayed in the TVs surrounding the dining room and point at the dish the looks the best.
We went for a late lunch in a Saturday and it was 1/4 - 1/2 full. Plenty of space and the A/C was set perfectly for a bowl of comforting noodle soup.”
