“The wife and I tried there brisket and ribs this evening and it was really good and I definently recommend you try them if you enjoy delicious smoked food and grab a fried pie while your there. No more soulmans for us because Baker's is definently not stingy with there meat . priced better and tastier food . Staff was extremely friendly as well.“

“Like a few other burger restaurants I’ve been to……the service is great, the atmosphere is great, but the burgers are just “ok”. The problem is the meat used for the burgers….. the meat has no flavor. I guess it’s because the patties are bought frozen. They are bland and dry instead of being a good juicy burger. They just don’t have any flavor!!! If JG could change the meat to where it tasted like it just came off someone’s backyard grill I would give them a 5 star rating.“

Save your money and just eat that bird because the sides are only ho hum and definitely skip the whip cream is all there is banana pudding fit only for children.“

“It's not just a place to stay, it's a destination. Stayed one night on a friend's trip and was blown away by how unique and beautiful the home was. We loved our room and our balcony and we enjoyed doing some yoga in the morning in the beautiful yard. The speakeasy was especially special and we loved the little touches like all the snacks and we enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Really wonderful hospitality! “We found this place on a TikTok video after searching for “bottomless mimosas” and they came up three times back to back on my feed so we had to go see what it was about and man we can’t wait to go back! They were playing some good jams the dj was great the whole staff was vibing just a great atmosphere overall! Eating and vibing!!! “We went to Cracker Barrel in Mesquite, TX. yesterday and the service was good but the food was not, the mash potatoes were not hot only warm and the fried chicken taste like it came out of a TV dinner. the ladies rest room was nasty and had no toilet paper, I told two different people at two different times and it was still that way a hour later! “First time trying Slim Chickens! I did a pickup order and it was FAST! Food tasted amazing, Waffles are soooo good! The honeymustard sauce was more mustardy but ok. The mac was the best fast food mac I've ever had! Fried pickles were well seasoned. Chocolate shake was just ok, tasted kinda like hersheys syrup. Will definitely order again!“

Food was good, and employees were good.
Why am I disappointed?
Forcing us to use their monitor/computer to order. No choice.
Issues:
1) how many people touch that screen?
2) how often, if ever, do they clean that screen?
3) you eat chicken sandwich and french fries with...your hands.
4) order screen does not enable QR code scanning for rewards.
5) order screen forces you to enter email and phone #. People are all behind you staring at your private information.
6) difficult to even find what email address you used to sign-up.
7) difficult to find what phone # was used to sign-up.
8) it's as if they really do not want us to participate in the rewards program.
9) It is not convenient, takes too long and makes for a frustrating experience.
10) I use technology everyday. Just because you CAN does not mean you should.
11) we prefer to support people and jobs.
12) The only way humanless ordering will make sense is if it is completely touch-free, private. Audio would be a start.“

“This is the first time in over 10 years I've been there because my first experience was not a good one. (Roaches crawling on walls and floors, etc). However.. that was over 10 years ago. This time was a great experience. Employees were on the ball about keeping things cleaned up and stocked with everything you can imagine in an American style buffet! 5+ stars to the new personnel working there. The only thing I would say that was unpleasant was the smell coming from the bathrooms. It was obvious that they were so busy on a Saturday that they were unable to attend the bathrooms.
I will be going back there especially on Veterans Day! Thank you for a great meal I over stuffed myself!! Lol
