I walked into Cracker Barrel expecting the usual solid country breakfast vibes — rocking chairs, peg game, and decent hashbrown casserole — but our server Lucas turned out to be the absolute MVP. From the moment we sat down, he was on it: refills appeared like magic, he remembered exactly how we liked everything, making sure price was as is, and brought this calm, happy energy that made the meal feel like hanging out with a super-efficient friend. He checked in at all the right moments, took care of the whole table (even the picky eaters), and honestly made a quick stop feel like the highlight of the day. Lucas, you’re killing it, man — the food was great, but your service made it next-level. I’m already planning my next trip back. If you’re in the area, ask for Lucas. 10/10 would recommend and return. Cracker Barrel hit a home run with this one.“

“Really loved the pre dinner croissant they brought out! Our waitress was great! Very polite and made sure our drinks stayed filled and food came out fast and hot! I had the blackened fish and rice it was delicious. Hubby had the steak it was a little under cooked for medium but was seasoned perfectly. We had the cheese bite appetizer and the ranch was awesome! 10x10 would definitely recommend. Good portion size and a very reasonable price 👍“

“This place was awesome. The food was great. Customer service was on point. The crawfish was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend coming here to try. We had a group of six people to seven came around dinner time. The sauce and the crawfish was at 10 at 10. Will be coming back thank you.“

“First time here and the chicken salads did not disappoint. So many options to choose from. The cranberry Kelli and the classic carol were tasty and flavorful. Got both sandwiches on croissants that were airy and fresh. You have to try the grape salad….you won’t be disappointed! “I visited Daqs & Oxtails for the first time during their Soft Grand Opening on 5/30/24. I love the vibe of the place. There was plenty of parking with indoor and outdoor seating. There was no hot food ready to purchase during my visit but I did buy the in-house banana pudding, hypnotic lemonade, Cake Daddy’s chicken salad, and the “Voodoo” flavor daiquiri. The servers were pleasant and professional, and the items were priced as I expected. Of all the items I purchased, the banana pudding was my favorite. I will definitely be returning to this spot for some oxtails, greens, yams, and cornbread soon! This spot is worth checking out!“

“This place is delicious and one of my husband and I’s favorite spots in Wylie area! The hot chicken is always crispy and perfectly seasoned. Love their hot chicken tenders and would highly recommend! Staff is always super helpful and nice too!“

Then the food and drinks: Absolutely delicious! my ribeye was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the Brussel sprouts, deviled eggs, sugarbacon, asparagus ,and spicy pimento cheese were amazing!
