“It's a beautiful place with lots of food and drink option. It has lots of different type of sitting including a RV for private sitting. Loved the interiors and outdoor sitting along with the decors. It has a lot of southern food options, good for small and large groups“
“This was our first time at W/B my husband wanted to bring our daughter because she came home for the weekend. Our servicer Dalton was the BEST, he's nice smile ,making our first time a Great experience. We will difficultly be back and hope to get Dalton again, restaurant need more Dalton.“
“Walked in this morning as a party of 6 for what we thought would be brunch. It was lunch instead, but it was great. Chicken fried chicken with the jalapeño gravy was phenomenal. Side salad with basalmic was amazing.Definitely adding this place to my list in the future.Parking: Multiple parking lots. We parked in the “market” parking lot on accident and walked over to the restaurant and there was a parking lot right in front of the restaurant as well.“
“Went for lunch the place was packed. Ordered the wagyu beef burger and my friend had the regular bacon cheese burger. I also ordered the chili dog. The Wagyu burger comes cooked well it was really good. They have a full bar like fudruckers which I liked for sauces n toppings. The chili dog was meh but still good. I loved the mom n pop feel of the place. A definite must try when in Dallas“
“I came for rush hour. Staff was amazing. Wings were great & spicyyyyyyy (mango habernera and southern bbq) frozen drinks were great as well. Parking is great,; corner building with its own parking. Waiting is average- not too long & not too quick. Overall, 5/5. HAPPR “
“We had Tiana as our server on Thursday for date night and we had a wonderful time! The food was so freaking good, we had the fried salmon bites, the jerk chicken soup, I ordered the fried chicken a la carte for my entree and my man had the jerk lamp chop. I definitely would recommend this place to my fellow foodies, if you want to order a drink get the frozen peach dusse! Will be back for the good food and good vibes. ?“
“On my first visit to this location so far, I dined in with another person. I had 1 risky biscuit, 1 iced cinnamon biscuit, 1 the farmer, and 1 peach-berry lemonade. The risky biscuit and iced cinnamon biscuit were fine. The farmer biscuit was good, and I wouldn't mind ordering this biscuit sandwich again. The peach-berry lemonade was excellent.I intend to visit again to try some sidekicks and/or shareables in addition to another entrée.“
“We came on the earlier side, no ressies taken at this location. We were seated immediately and was acknowledged soon after by our waitresss. For our starters we ordered the deviled eggs… it was very good!!!Sadly, our dinner came just about five minutes into the starters, which made us rush to finish. The waitress was not apologetic whatsoever and just dropped off the plates of dinner and side of green beans. Any other time I would of kindly asked for them to hold it or remake it fresh when we were ready but I’ve worked at a fine dining restaurant (unlike this place, still solid) and that’s a cardinal sin to request your dinner to be held. So I knew better and we just accepted all what came to the table.Lucky for us we were pretty hungry so it was fine, that time. The food was delicious. The gravy thick and flavorful. The lemon glazed biscuit was great!Overall, considering food and service… 4⭐️’sThe server should have been more aware of the timing. Frankly, we were her first of three tables so it wasn’t like she was drowning.Well, it was good food at the end of the day.“
“The blackberry cobbler was insane! I had it a la mode with the suggestion of the waitress and boy did it just set it off! The fried chicken plate looked awesome, but I just ate too much BBQ in Fort Worth so I couldn't find any room. Next time though I'm going hungry I might even get an omelette on top of it.“
“Everything was excellent. The service. The food is everything. It was my first time going and I will be going back. Don't go in expecting food to be lined up in metal bins over hot water. The food is fresh and cooked to order. Wonderful ??“
“This was my second time here. Great location across from klyde Warren Park with plenty of parking that they validate. The food here is amazing, all of the a sides are so yummy. The macaroni and collards greens are a must try, now the prices are a bit high but the food is worth it and outstanding service it worth it.“
“I've been to palmers numerous times and never get to write a review because i always immediately dig in, but here we are now! Palmers has many hot chicken options, many heat levels and many soul food options. I've never been disappointed during any visit to palmers. The customer service is always top tier, they go out of their way to serve you whether you're dining in or to go! I always get the novice level which is spicy in my opinion! I'm from Louisiana and the novice big dark had my nose running, however the novice tenders are mild tasting! Palmers is very family friendly, they have covered outdoor seating with game like; bean bag toss and giant connect 4! Entrees i recommend are; chicken tacos, chicken and waffles, catfish(authentic!) and BIG DARK (enough to feed 2 people, only $14).“
“The food was great. The only thing was everything "To Me was sweet". Sweet bread, sweet potatoes, the corn and even the chicken fried steak. And to top is of i got sweet tea which i loved till every was sweet... Great service hot food clean.“
“I had not tried all the variety of things. I finally DID try the cheesbuger & homemade fries, SO fine. And the gorditas. All the Mexican & American so far has been great. I cook a lot of Italian so I am interested it that next. The people are bilingual & at ALL times friendly & professional. They have been a huge help after I had some medical dental procedures. I am a big fan now. Happily it's only three blocks away!“
“This restaurant is really cute! Located in bishop arts near a bunch of other shops and restaurants.A group of us got dinner here for a friend's birthday and the ambience was really nice. Make sure to reserve ahead of time!I ordered the linguine but it personally wasn't for me. I tried some of the pizzas and those were good though! So I'd recommend ordering that of you come here. Our waiter was super attentive as well so props to the staff working at the restaurant! Overall, a good place to check out.“
“From brunch to lunch to dinner, you’ll definitely enjoy a tasty meal at The Porch anytime you go! My spouse and I recently went on a lunch date and, while we experienced slower service, we overall enjoyed our experience. We ordered apps, main courses, and dessert. Everything tasted really good and was exquisitely prepared!I like that you can dress up or down to dine at The Porch. I consider it a great place for celebrations, corporate lunches, date day/night, drinks with friends, etc.Vegetarian options: They offer a limited vegetarian selection. I did not see vegetarian options clearly marked on the menu. They serve salads.Parking: There is a parking lot behind the restaurant. It’s free to park there on weekdays (possibly during the day on weekends) but, it turns into a valet only lot for dinner. The neighboring parking lot costs $20 an hour. There is also street parking available.“
“2nd time coming here and I’m obsessed. Last time I got the 2 breast combo, it came with two breast (the seasoning is amazing) fries 2 pieces of bread a pepper and pickle slices + a drink for like $9. So good! Today I got the fish basket, also fries/bread/pepper pickles, also about $9 with a drink. The lady was so nice and my food was cooked to order, I waited like 4 min. Seriously a hidden gem.“
“Nice and friendly service. I got the whole catfish and I LOVED it as well as my son had the double bacon cheese burger that he said was really good. It was cooked to order and seasonings were perfect. I will definitely be back to try other menu items.“
“My husband and I have been coming to Flying Fish for years and today I tried their crawfish for the first time! OMG the price is much better than one of the other seafood restaurants we frequented and the quality and seasoning were great as well. Highly recommend!“
“Yes it’s a chain but this bird is the word! Chicken rockstars use gas fired wood (for flavor) ovens producing juicy fowl for your pleasure. Save your money and just eat that bird because the sides are only ho hum and definitely skip the whip cream is all there is banana pudding fit only for children.“
“We ordered the light and dark French Fried Chicken with the biscuits, collard greens, and brie mac and cheese. The chicken was crispy on the outside and very juicy inside. Mac and cheese was tasty and the biscuits are to die for. Eat it while it's warm. The chicken and greens were a bit too salty for me. Maybe it was an extra briny batch. Lots of parking outside.“
“"Pearlie’s Southern Kitchen is a culinary masterpiece, bridging generations with recipes deeply rooted in Southern traditions. I was introduced to their amazing dishes at the State Fair of Texas, and it was a flavor journey back to authentic Southern cooking. Kerston Crawford-Thorns' passion and dedication to continuing the lessons from her beloved grandmother, Pearlie Mae, shine through every dish. The mouthwatering Deep-Fried Collard Greens and the show-stopping six-cheese macaroni are testament to this. With an exciting future ahead, including a Mobile Food Trailer, I'm eager to follow their journey on social media. Kudos to a brand that keeps family and heritage at its core!"“
“We went kinda late. They were out of beef ribs, so I settled for the pork ribs, and my fiance got a chicken plate. The food was ok, simple bbq with no soul, and the chicken breast looked like a body builder.lol.Service was great. the atmosphere was ok. They had a live band out back. We might try it again on our next trip to Texas. O and try the margaritas, fire my fiance said.“
