“The food is delicious, but when it comes to paying for your food they bring this little machine to your table to payout mine you they already put the gratuity on your bill, even if there is 2 or more. The waiter or waitress have a nerve to ask for additional tips, but you don’t know that they already charge you gratuity and asking for more money. I don’t think this is fair and right to do. Me and my husband came for our anniversary we enjoyed everything, but telling us that you have to share your tips with others and asking for more money is very wrong. Not good for business 🤦🏼‍♀️“

“Our waitress was great. The place was completely empty when we got there. I figured everyone is at Good Day Cafe.

What we ordered was delicious and within a great price range.

Something I did not like was the 3 buck upcharge for chicken friend chicken breakfast if you prefer chicken over the chicken fried steak breakfast. At Good Day, both options are priced the same .

After our meal, I realized why it was empty.

They do not do senior citizen or military discounts or discounts of any kind :/

People will go where they feel appreciated. Not that the service did not exude that. The establishment can do that by honoring those discounts. Its not always about the discount, its about the principle.“

“I love this place - the dance floor is the biggest I have ever seen (I've danced in different locations all the way around Houston/ Spring/ Huntsville) and it is perfectly round which is unique. The workshops held here are incredibly thought out and help the other dancers acclimate to the space. Biggest downfall is during the Summer months - the AC should be turned on because I marinate. Also - the crowd gets larger as the night gets later which is common but it makes it hard to move along the dance floor without traffic. The leads that come out are very strong - if I lived locally this would be my go to. 🥰“

“Drove past this place countless times and finally decided to give it a shot; glad I did! We ordered the catfish with shrimp, the ceviche, and the seafood gumbo. The catfish and shrimp were solid, and the ceviche was a nice touch. The gumbo was the only item that didn't quite hit the mark for me, but everything else delivered. To top it off, we grabbed a table on the outdoor patio and enjoyed the meal with a perfect spring breeze, honestly one of the better settings for a casual seafood dinner. “Kids eat for $1.99 on Sundays. The chicken tenders are good the Fry's are good. The hot wings are good. Also the chicken and waffles are delicious and the combo is 5.99 on Wednesday. My kids like the food here. What I don't like is you have to ask for key to use the restroom. They use to have tvs playing the sports shows and now they are always off. They use to have jazz music playing and now they don't. At the other slims chickens the tvs work and the restrooms are unlocked.“
