“You can NOT go wrong with Lucky’s chicken. The food is custom - fresh - made to order. I tried their burgers at Treys Chowdown burger showdown and I am still thinking about the amazing flavors served between a POTATO BUN! Sooo good! Today I tried their fried dark meat chicken with Lucky’s heat seasoning blend AND HOT HONEY, BAAAYYBY!!! Dont get me started on those Howlin FRIES! We drove from Joshua Texas and let me tell ya - WORTH THE DRIVE! The only bad thing I have to say about Luckys Hot Chicken is that there are so many AMAZING MENUE CHOICES - its hard to narrow down. I got my eye on the Chicken and Red Velvet Waffle - NEXT TIME! Did I mention how amazing and attentive the staff was? OH and FREE ICE CREAM CONES FOR DESERT! 10 outta 10 - must try!“

“Came here for lunch with a group of 6. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Every piece was seasoned not just the batter. We tried the tenders, wings, fish, as well as chicken pieces. The fries where also great. Will definitely stop by again the next time we are in the area.“

“I just left the Live Oak location and I was meant with the most delightful service from Diego super nice young man who just made me feel as if I was at a locally owned and operated business where people truly care about your experience. This young man could easily run a restaurant or work at a high-end restaurant he sold me which I thought was good since I’m in sales and he made sure I had all the condiments that I asked for. This location always has good service in the food is always perfection. This is the best location to me compared to all the other ones I’ve been to in Dallas but today I really thought it’d be best to stop and write a review because they really made my day and you never know how just a smile and being very courteous can resonate with people. “Kids eat for $1.99 on Sundays. The chicken tenders are good the Fry's are good. The hot wings are good. Also the chicken and waffles are delicious and the combo is 5.99 on Wednesday. My kids like the food here. What I don't like is you have to ask for key to use the restroom. They use to have tvs playing the sports shows and now they are always off. They use to have jazz music playing and now they don't. At the other slims chickens the tvs work and the restrooms are unlocked.“

“this was my first time eating chicken from this location, which is Henderson chicken and I must say it was ok!!! They don't put enough season on the chicken, but other than that, it's worth the buy!!! Now I've eaten from the Henderson chicken on loop 12!!! And it was good and they have nothing but men cooking and when I tell u those men can burn!!! Another way of saying they can cook!!! That's for the ones in the back 😃“

When I say top notch customer service he had. It started thunder storming really bad and I didn't have an umbrella all I had was my raincoat but the high winds didn't help. But Brandon got an umbrella and walked me to my car that was in the second parking lot just to keep my food and I from get drenched in the rain...
Please promote Brandon because he sacrifice getting wet to keep a customer dry.

“I love this place so much! More than one would expect! You can get a lot that is on the healthier side and it’s a great value. They use real chicken that doesn’t taste like it’s injected with garbage and the doesn’t have a weird texture. They have tons of sauces and always remember my name. They’re located in Plaza of the Americas too so you can walk inside to get your steps after lunch or just enjoy the indoor green space.“
