“I usually order for pickup. My first impression of this place was that it wasn't kind of place I expected (it's in a strange neighborhood). But my food is always hot and fresh, and I'm usually in and out within seconds.
Trip's special is the fried fish, mac, slaw, and a drink. Fish is legit; seasoned well, crispy coating, moist and delicious. Gotta have it with the tartar. Mac is nice and cheesy with good texture. I usually don't like slaw, but Lisa's slaw is sweet, delicious, and really helps to cut down the grease. Recommend throwing in some hushpuppies too.
Chicken is pretty good most of the time, it stays crispy, tender, and juicy for a while. Not mind-blowing delicious, but homestyle and very good for the value you get out of this place. Would recommend for anyone looking for a cheap, filling, satiating meal. Hits different when you're on the drive home and you're too lazy to chef up.“

“I found authentic Korean street food away from Korea in Grand Prairie! Ordered garlic spicy wings to go, and the chicken was still super crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. Nothing beats that yummy garlicky and crunchy chicken. It wasn't actually as spicy as it looked. The chewy tteokbokki was a great addition to the wings that came with it. My two kiddos really LOVED it, too!!“

“I've been out here for about 8 years and this is my first time trying Golden Chick. The chicken was fresh, delicious and then I tried on a separate occasion and it was the same service. This will officially be my go-to place instead of KFC churches and Popeyes“

“This store has awesome employees and managers with excellent customer service skills. Also a commitment to allow a special needs person to work with them and be one of the team and treat him just like everyone else. If u get a chance go by and visit on the weekend. My son will be more than happy to take your trash or wipe off your table. He will also be glad to just talk to an encourage u.“

“Went through the drive thru during my lunch break and ordered the chicken deluxe sandwich, once I got to work I noticed they gave me the spicy chicken sandwich. I can't eat anything spicy so I called them to inform them and they said I would have to come back up there(which I can't because I'm back at work) or they can put me in their system. But now I have nothing to eat for lunch.“
