“Welcome home. If I could title my review, that would be it. From the moment I stepped through the door, the (cute!) young man behind the counter made me feel like he had been waiting for me all day. I have anxiety, but it melted away with his charm. The mac and cheese wasn’t ready when I got there, so I was given two choices: they’d replace it with any side, or I could wait and they would make it fresh. Who doesn’t like fresh food? I was entertained while I waited, and the time flew by. Food was hot and fresh. Service was above and beyond. It was my first time in Grand Prairie, but I hope to be back ASAP — only partially for the eye candy!”

“Down in Dallas visiting my pops, and let me just say…. THIS WAS THE BEST BBQ IVE HAD IN MY 24 years on this planet! The smoked pork belly was so juicy, and tender, and man, the brisket!!! The brisket was to die for!!! So tender, but not brittle! Dad and I agreed this is now a destination spot and he will be coming , and the next time I’m in Dallas I will be seeping my teeth into some delicious fatty, juicy, succulent brisket and pork belly! Also the place was pristinely clean and the staff was so sweet! Let me add - the banana pudding was the perfect balance of sweet!”

“Extremely crowded. Waited 45 minutes to be seated. Once seated we waited 15 minutes, a male attendant came by an asked how our table was doing. We replied honestly that we had not been supplied water or menus. He said we would be receiving complementary items and went to the service area. Curious about what he meant we waited. Several minutes later we received menus and water. The waitress took our orders and the wait continued. We have never experienced such an inattentive wait staff. Or such slow service. We decided to take this location off our list of favorites.”

“Came in on a Tuesday to celebrate a birthday. We had reservations but it took a bit for our table to be ready, probably due to their Tuesday specials. Service was 10/10, Margarita was so sweet and attentive without being overwhelming. Managers checked in as well. The best dishes we ordered were the salmon and the chicken en crema, hands down. Sour cream enchiladas and smothered steak burrito were good, just not as good as their dinner plates. Vibes were awesome, the back was open so you could see the sunset and feel the nice October weather. Only downside is the music is quite loud, even on the weekdays so be prepared to have a slightly soar throat the next day. All in all, great experience! Thank you Vidorra team!”

Someone contacted me and left me a voicemail but I haven't had time to call them back. There must be something I'm missing here or just ont understand. All the other reviews look great, so I changed my one star review to 5 based on the fact that I'm missing something here. I'll figure it out later, and come get some of that delicious looking food.”

Immediately walking in the restaurant I was greeted by Ivan (not even knowing at this point that he was the Manager). I was sitting waiting for my order (had not been more than a couple of minutes) when he walked in the dining area to take an order outside and he acknowledged me again and said “ We’re working on your order, it’s almost ready “. My order was ready a few minutes later and as I was leaving I heard one of the employees in the kitchen tell him that she had forgotten to put the fries in the order he had just taken out, so he runs outside and tries to flag the driver down and they didn’t even notice him but they were driving across a VERY busy intersection to a gas station and Ivan ran across the busy intersection to give them their fries. WHO DOES THAT!!! Good people like that are hard to come by. I guarantee my family will continue to go to THIS Burger King from now on because I know we’ll be taken care of. When you have a Manager like him you know he’s a good role model for his team. Keep up the good work Ivan. Burger King on great Southwest in Grand Prairie.”

“I stopped by First Watch for the first time to have brunch. I ended up ordering the Italian Poblano sausage skillet with scrambled eggs. It came with a side of mixed fruit and multigrain toast and jam. I was feeling adventurous, so I got a mimosa. The skillet was hot and fresh, and a nice sized serving… and the mimosa had me feeling mighty fine. ☺️ I will be returning to try some of their other menu items. I recommend this spot.”

I don’t mind paying a technology fee (.19c) because most merchants who take debit cards have the fee, I believe its a fee when they take card with their system. All my guests had high praise for the food and the cake was also phenomenal. Seriously, it is an amazing one stop shop for wedding venues. Not only that, Steve and Adam provided professional service and replied timely with all my questions and needs. They also provided expert advice for my venue and was a huge part in making it successful. I highly recommend The Pearl if anyone is looking to book a wedding venue! “Good experience. Family oriented restaurant serving American and some Cajun foods. We ordered the chips and queso with salsa, honey butter glazed croissants, pork ribs, sirloin with shrimp, Dijon chicken, and bourbon glazed salmon. I got my plate with a side of sweet baby carrots and steamed broccoli.
The chips and queso were good but not amazing. The chips are a little on the thick side. The queso was plain. The salsa tasted better than the queso but it was a bit runny.
The honey butter glazed croissants were amazing. 10/10. Perfect amount of sweet honey married with butter on a slightly crispy outside and airy soft inside. Comes with 5 croissants. If every restaurant were to be known for something (like Texas Roadhouse being known for their honey butter bread), cheddars would be known for their honey butter croissant.
The (8 oz) salmon plate comes with seasoned rice but comes small. The bourbon glaze was delicious. Crispy edges and nice, moist, tender interior. Sauce is slightly lessened, not drenched over the fish. Steamed broccoli soft to the bite, almost mushy. Sweet baby carrots soft with slight firmness, a little too sweet for the dish.
Service was friendly, checked in on us periodically.

“Came in with a couple of friends for a quick bite and a drink. I was blown away by the excellent service that Zane provided for us. We wanted some appetizers so he upsold us on the Jake’s triple play option. Great recommendation and I suggest getting the corn nuggets!”

“I’m happy to have a shake shack closer by. We used to have to drive all the way to Dallas. Friendly staff and I like the self serve options. Definitely pay more attention to the ketchup dispenser though. Both were empty.”

“I had a great Server didn't get her name, but she had long hair and she was serving on the sidewhere. The dessert was at very sufficient, very friendly. I enjoyed myself because of her and next time I come back. I will make sure that I sit in her section.”

“I stopped by First Watch for the first time to have brunch. I ended up ordering the Italian Poblano sausage skillet with scrambled eggs. It came with a side of mixed fruit and multigrain toast and jam. I was feeling adventurous, so I got a mimosa. The skillet was hot and fresh, and a nice sized serving… and the mimosa had me feeling mighty fine. ☺️ I will be returning to try some of their other menu items. I recommend this spot.”

“Saw this place on Instagram and wanted to give it a try.
Went on a Saturday around 3p and it was a bit packed when my party of 3 arrived. We did sit at the bar (which wasn’t a problem for us because we did order drinks)
I glanced at reviews before going to see what others were saying and I can see why some like it an others don’t.

If you go when it’s crowded, you may not find much seating (unless you want the bar or outside, outside isn’t ideal in the summer)
Kiosk does timeout if you’re not clicking after 15-20seconds (which sucks if you’re reading)
The pepperoni pizza was OK not a “wow” factor
Can be a bit confusing when you walk in for the first time and no one is there to guide you. Especially if you walk in on the side without the kiosk.”
