“Welcome home. If I could title my review, that would be it. From the moment I stepped through the door, the (cute!) young man behind the counter made me feel like he had been waiting for me all day. I have anxiety, but it melted away with his charm. The mac and cheese wasn’t ready when I got there, so I was given two choices: they’d replace it with any side, or I could wait and they would make it fresh. Who doesn’t like fresh food? I was entertained while I waited, and the time flew by. Food was hot and fresh. Service was above and beyond. It was my first time in Grand Prairie, but I hope to be back ASAP — only partially for the eye candy!“

“My Husband and I recently dined in. I must say I was impressed with the service. Our waiter LaDarius was GREAT.He was very attentive and even though it was very busy he made sure he checked in on us. He was very polite and appeared to really love his job. Made our dining experience Great!“

“Food was VERY good. Service not too bad but more attention to refilling drinks needs to be looked at. Especially when bill is $300. I feel filling drinks should NOT require ringing that bell. A more pleasant sounding bell would be nice. Current ring is very displeasure and jarring.“

“Roadside BBQ eatery with one large picnic table to eat at, otherwise it’s to go. BEST BBQ EVER! Price was reasonable and portions generous. Staff was super nice and came by (we got the one table) and checked on us.
Super attentive, bringing more napkins and a bag of potato chips for the kiddos. Amazing BBQ without the bbq sauce on it or with the sauce on it. Their rub ingredients were amazing. We WILL be back. Took one star off for only having one table but I understand their constraints, being just off street.“

“Great people, tell them you want an extra side of the special sauce! Atmosphere is great. Here is the secret though, come on Sunday after church before 2:30 and you will get a free dish of Homeade Bluebell Ice-cream. Buy a dish of the pecan pie and enjoy. You're welcome!“

“Exceptional, authentic Texas BBQ — the real deal! The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender with that perfect smoky bark, and the ribs slid right off the bone. Every bite was loaded with that slow-smoked flavor only true pitmasters can achieve. The sides were just as good — creamy mac and cheese, tangy slaw, and classic baked beans. Great folks, great service, and true Texas flavor. Highly recommended!“

“This Dickey's has not only great food but also an amazing management team and staff. I placed a catering order for a Celebration of Life luncheon. The food was fresh and delicious, the delivery was on time and not a thing was missing from my large order. My calls with Sal, Ray and other staff members all gave me a feeling of confidence that my order was in good hands and that was exactly the way it turned out.“

“Buying the full brisket uncut is by far the best price in the entire DFW Metroplex. Also fuel at the pump is the lowest price. The Brisket quality ranks in the top 5 or better, taste/ juicy/ tender, adding the price with that ranks Rudy's on I-20 service road in Arlington, Texas #1.“

“I spent a good chunk of time walking the outfield concourse, hoping to find something sweet or savory with a shorter line. Nothing really stood out, until I turned the corner and spotted the Sweet Baby Ray’s sign.
I went with the BBQ Brisket Mac & Cheese, and it was absolutely amazing, even on a hot day. Rich, flavorful, and totally satisfying. Couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon meal during the game. Worth the wait and the walk.“
“I work here so I am a little biased. I am the Operations Manager at the catering office. We handle orders over 50 people or smaller orders where full service, or a non-bbq menu is ordered. Our location is catering only- if you are looking for dining in or getting something to go, please contact or visit our original restaurant on Inwood Rd just east of Harry Hines; or our Lovers Lane, West End, or Richardson locations.“

“Definitely coming again. Food is amazing and really nice service. I would definitely order wings from here if I'm having a party or big occasion. Burgers were really juicy and big with a great grilled taste. The fried rice samples were also pretty interesting. I would come again to try an order of the chicken fried rice.???“

“As soon as I walked in Naomy greeted me and after that Jonathan came up to the area where they chopped the beef and said hello how could he help me so I had a special order for myself I wanted moist beef with the char cut off. He grabbed that brisket cut off that char and had me the most beautiful juicy sandwich I have ever seen! Naomi ask me did I want sauce I said yes and she said can I offer you anything else that we have and I told her yes I'd like some peach cobbler and she got that right away both of these workers are young and smile the whole time I even told them you're both smiling while you do everything here they were the only ones there and that place was spotless I'm going to tell my friends about it and I'm going to drive from the other side of Duncanville to this location to get my barbecue from now on thank you Dickey's barbecue for hiring young people who are eager and smart that know how to be sweet to older people and to your customers good job!“

“Updating review. DO NOT COME HERE IN THE MORNING. pretty sure the food is just being reheated came at night time and everything was perfect. Nothing overcooked or dried out.
Having to update from my 5 star this food has went down hill fast the good looking picture is from when they first remodeled it. Food has been very inconsistent. Food was great when it first open. Went from great looking food to always dried out and under seasoned food. Mac and cheese is sticky and dry. Meat is completely dried out most of the time also. The good picture is how it looked before now it's just crap food again like it was before. Some day the cornbread is great other days it's hard. Same thing with the potatoes some day they are nice crispy on outside and seasoned well but it just seems like they just mash a potato and serve it to you“
