“My boyfriend took me here for our anniversary and this place is absolutely incredible!! I forgot the name of our pilot but he has a black beard and mustache and he was fantastic. “We ended up at Jakes due to being in the area and being familiar with the downtown Ft Worth and Grapevine locations. Service was decent enough, though on the slower side. We ended up there for about an hour, which is on the longer side for a burger place. So if you come, plan on a little bit to hang out and talk. Food wise things ended up being decent enough. My we got a sampler of cheese sticks, pickles, and mushrooms. All were as expected but ended up coming out only a few mins before our meals. Everyone enjoyed the meal end, my one complaint was the one burger in our order was really thin. Plenty of toppings, decent bun, but the meat itself was thin. Like the tomato slice was thicker.“
“Came for the crawfish and left with a full, happy belly! The sauce was spicy and garlicky and they gave extra sauce on the side. Frozen crawfish were HUGE and tasted fresh. Fries were good and cooked to order as well. The best, low key mom and pops shop and will be back for more.(chicken wings were okay though)“
“This is a hidden gem in Grand Prairie. We went there tonight for the first time and it won’t be the last. Great margaritas and the food is amazing. We had oysters, coconut shrimp, shrimp cocktail, and crab legs. It was all so good. The crab had the best flavor I have ever had. Coconut shrimp was perfect and I am picky about that. We also had Tres Leches cake and it was yummy. Service was excellent. Thank you Juliette! Music and atmosphere were really nice. Can’t wait to go back and take the grandkids.“
