I added butter on the toast to melt.Bacon and Eggs: The bacon was really crispy which I loved and the eggs were nice and golden. “I've been a die hard fan of Jake's for years now, and their cheese curds are a personal favorite out of any I've had in the metroplex. I highly recommend Jake's, and the only reason I don't give a full 5 stars across the board is they stopped offering their potato bun for their burgers as a non-poppy seed option. The remaining bun that you have to choose from takes away from the burger imo. Still a great place! Just wish they would bring the old bun back!“

“We ended up at Jakes due to being in the area and being familiar with the downtown Ft Worth and Grapevine locations. Service was decent enough, though on the slower side. We ended up there for about an hour, which is on the longer side for a burger place. So if you come, plan on a little bit to hang out and talk. Food wise things ended up being decent enough. My we got a sampler of cheese sticks, pickles, and mushrooms. All were as expected but ended up coming out only a few mins before our meals. Everyone enjoyed the meal end, my one complaint was the one burger in our order was really thin. Plenty of toppings, decent bun, but the meat itself was thin. Like the tomato slice was thicker.“

“I love this place. I have a bestie that lives in Fort Worth and this is our "let's meet in the middle" spot. The coffee is chef's kiss and I run a coffee shop. The service is always great and speedy. The menu has a lot of variety and the only thing I've not liked are the lemon pancakes and that was because I don't love ricotta, so that was my issue. Portions are hearty but not heavy. Prices are great and the place is very instagram-worthy. There is a dress code listed on the door, but I'm not sure what they define as unacceptable. I've come in workout apparel (leggings and a t-shirt) and was still served, so I'm guessing it's based on modesty and appropriateness. Ambience is great. Most everyone is happy in there and it's a feel good vibe. Pro tip: I live in Midlothian so I usually join the waitlist via Yelp on my way over so there's less of a wait time in person.“

“First time trying out White Rhino Coffee.The one thing that I did not feel too great on was the two breakfast egg chorizo tacos with some green sauce. Food quality was there, it was freshly hot made and they were great, but I was expecting bigger portion sizes for the price I was paying. The flour tortilla size is small and a palm sized of egg chorizo and cheese just isn't enough for me to justify paying $7+ for two tacos.I did try out an Iced Snickerdoodle 16oz. It was really good! The staff were nice and provided great service. If you don't mind the price by a couple of dollars on coffee, it can be worth stopping by.For now, the overall score will be 4/5, I'll revisit sometime in the future, looking forward to try out other items in the menu.“
