“Today I had the pleasure of eating Harris Bar-B-Q for the first time, and my family and I loved it. But I have to just brag on Miss Gloria for being so welcoming and kindhearted. She gave my babies a sucker, and her sweetness just warmed my heart. Her customer service alone will draw people back over and over! Thank you so much for making my day!“

“It's one of the best to go. Barbecues I've eaten all means if you get a chance stop by. Your food is very juicy and tender and worth every penny of it which is not much compared to some barbecue restaurants don't make a mistake and not try this place once“

Baked potato and baked beans were really good.
Peach cobbler: was pretty good. It just needs a little bit more sugar and the price or container size adjusted.

“Roadside BBQ eatery with one large picnic table to eat at, otherwise it’s to go. BEST BBQ EVER! Price was reasonable and portions generous. Staff was super nice and came by (we got the one table) and checked on us.
Super attentive, bringing more napkins and a bag of potato chips for the kiddos. Amazing BBQ without the bbq sauce on it or with the sauce on it. Their rub ingredients were amazing. We WILL be back. Took one star off for only having one table but I understand their constraints, being just off street.“

“Their food is amazing!!! I love the owner. He has great customer service and the staff is friendly. I ordered the brisket BBQ loaded potato, and my son had the chopped brisket sandwiches with fried. Ive also had their fish, and ribs, as well as their sides. There is Nothing that I would pass over. My favorites are the chicken tortillas soup and the cabbage!!!! If you are in Grand Prairie, give them a try!!!!! You will love it!!! Don’t forget your sweet tea!“

“Barbecue is actually not that bad. I mean, it’s not amazing, but it’s definitely not terrible. The sausage and brisket are pretty good for the price, and if you’re craving barbecue, it hits the spot. Not bad at all I highly recommend it.“

“My wife and I had our first visit to Junior's Barbecue this evening. We had an absolutely wonderful meal that was very reasonably priced. We will be back! This place has been in business since 1978. A local treasure. Glad we found it.“

“This restaurant was bomb!! The lightweight loaded potato with brisket was out of this WORLD amazing!! I could eat off of the serving size for two days and be in heaven. Anyone who loves baked potatoes should try this. Black owned restaurant with all of the fixings...yes please!!“

“The food here is always great, but today, on Christmas Eve, they went above and beyond! We realized last minute that we didn’t have enough meat for our family gathering. Even though they were closed and working a catering event, they answered the phone and absolutely saved the day. That kind of service is rare. Thank you, Ellis County BBQ! Merry Christmas🎄“
