“We had the worst craving for BBQ Resurrection Sunday evening coming in from San Antonio, this was a on the way home opened spot! It didn't disappoint on being open. I certainly didn't feel like driving further so canceled our french restaurant rsvp for this grab n go.My daughters loved the nacho and bbq French fries. They're hard to please so they're happiness at the messiness was a thing of beauty. Loaded! Most places give you too much fries or chips to slack on the neat...not HERE! There was a beautiful balance of everything and just mouth watering, party in your mouth delish.The peach cobbler is fantastic...not too much cobbler with just the rich big juicy peaches. Meat is delicious smoked flavor is on point. My only issue was sides the potato salad n Mac cheese were extremely unseasoned but the cobbler brought a smile back . I really expected more there on the sides :( ? a Lil disappointed. There are other sides, so don't let this curb u, it was just Piccadilly ish to me. The other sides they offer just might have that kick.Now back to praising....the crawfish rolls, I'll say were a Lil unfilled but so flavored who cared! Absolutely a comfort food.Lots of locals so expect to hear beautiful conversations of how's lil..well see you in church .... warm environment. It's not built to be a dine in, but if you do sit inside you'll see the good Ole southern Bible and church booklets ...if the food doesn't get to your soul there's always books.Going back for fish Fridays! I'll try a different side but definitely getting the cobbler!Whereas it may not be wheelchair friendly, the staff will be happy to bring your food out. Very professional staff focused on service delivery and fantastic food.“
“I called in an order for the meatloaf. The website states you get 2 pieces. When I picked up the order, I had 1 small piece. I mentioned I didnt get two. I decided to buy another piece, which was fine, but the rude and insulting comments and bad attitude from the lady in the kitchen was unnecessary. The remainder of the staff and service was great. Food was great but bad comments from the lady in the kitchen was reason enough for only 4 stars.“

“Delicious! We ordered a brisket, rack of ribs and three pounds of sausage. It was all AMAZING! Great meat! Great value! We fed 10 people and had lots of leftovers for future meals (if it lasts that long. ) We will definitely be ordering again in the future!“
“Dickey's does great with their meat, and the staff is friendly. The staff was really patient with me and my family when it was evident that our kids were a bit of a hassle. The manager even cleaned up a spill of ours very promptly and made it seem like we hadn't been any trouble at all.“
“It was my first time here and the food was alright. We had 3 different servers and the last was the most helpful. Dede was awesome and super sweet. She’s the only reason why i’m giving a higher rating. The food took about 45 mins to come out. The server was super helpful and she sat us and even took our drink orders. Our server even let us have samples of the gumbo. Thanks DeDe for taking care of us. We appreciate you. Parking was free and convenient.“
“Good Bar b que and the owners are nice and friendly. Can get crowded but worth the wait. Good prices too. I got the 3 meat bake potato. The only problem I had they forgot my extra cheese. But it was good. The smoke chicken was good as well.“
“Do not go here if you are in a hurry or you are snobby. The owner takes your order, cooks your food after you order, and serves you. You can tell he loves what he does and is not going to rush it! It's like going to a friend's house for dinner! Except this friend can actually cook! This is a 1 person show! We'll go back again.“
“I visited the Midlothian location. . The food was great.. but what impressed me is I thought I left my wallet and I called and spoke to Pedro, the store manager. He went above and beyond to try and locate it for me.. him and another girl. I didn’t get her name, but they were both very helpful. “I really enjoyed the sweet tea and chopped brisket baked potato. The mac and cheese was okay. The brisket burger is very good as were the burnt ends.I wasn't a huge fan of either barbecue sauce but my husband liked them. I prefer less sweet, more tangy tomato based sauces.Unlike a lot of barbecue places, you are seated and order from a menu versus a line. The dining areas are large and airy with lots of light. The staff was super friendly.We'll be back to try the sliced brisket, sausage and other sides.“
