It had no sauce even though it was ordered that way and the meat was in cubes that didn't stay on the bun. Yams cooked with onions weren't good, the green beans were tasteless.The self-serve pickles, onions and peppers were messy, the sauces didn't come out of the bottle easily. For the price we'd say go to Soulman's. Cheaper and better.“

“i went to Sweet Georgia Brown on Saturday, April 13th around 3:45 pm. The food looked hot, mouth-watering, and I was ready to eat! All of the men who worked the line were so nice, and welcoming. On another note, the older gentleman working the cash register didn't speak, smile or even tell me the total! All he did was took my card, and handed it back to me!! On a positive note, there was a man who may have been a security officer, because of his uniform, who was at a table putting your food in a plastic bag. Let me tell you, he was so nice, had a big smile, and made you want to come back! My suggestion would be to put someone else to work the register who can smile, and at least speak to your "paying" customers! Because that old man looked like he didn't want to be bothered! We spent a fair amount of time researching our options and chose Hump's BBQ because of the reviews.Hump's exceeded our expectations. We had an LB of pulled pork and the 3 meat plate with ribs, brisket, link with the side of mac 'n cheese and potato salad. The meats were all perfectly cooked and tender and the BBQ flavour was absorbed deeply so that each bite had that lovely wood smoked taste. Suprisingly, our favourite item was the link and we could easily have said yes to another portion. The Banana pudding was creamy and flavourful and will make a convert of anyone.We loved that there were 2 small benches in front where we could eat our meal while fresh and after chatting to people coming and going, we can confidently say that the place is busy with regulars as well as a good few first timers who were there because local friends and family had recommended the spot.This is a friendly place with amazing food.I am dreaming of relocating so that I can be closer to Hump's and know that it will be one of life's favourite food memories.Thank you!“

I'm a very southern (Southern Florida) and very picky with the seasonings and taste of food. We ordered the super chuck wagon, yes thats a lot of food for two people, but leftover food being a truck driver saves me from nasty food from truck stops. Brisket (could be better, more smoke flavor and/or seasonings). The sausage was on point! The pulled pork was on point! The ribs (could've been better, not falling off the bone and more seasonings.) But overall I was satisfied. The side, Mac & cheese was great. The Cole slaw was good, the green beans was a little bland, but over all good. The pecan pie (I'm sorry I have to be honest) I didn't care for and the banana pudding, it tasted like a plain flavored pudding. Real banana pudding has real bananas and vanilla wafers in it. But I won't discriminate the restaurant for the desserts I really didn't need. Lol. Oh and 1 more thing, the sweet tea. Smh. I need to give you my recipe for it. “Tried the two meat dinner that had two sides, it was down home cooking! I’m a pulled pork person, and my husband is a brisket man. I stopped in one time to pick up dinner and this time I ordered the smoked turkey and brisket. Well that night was it, once my husband took a bite of the smoked turkey we were hooked. I told him I thought it tasted like Thanksgiving smoked turkey that my uncle cooks for hours an hours. It is delicious! Now don’t get me wrong. I went on My lunch break around 1pm ish, the guy was nice, but my cabbage was completely cold the sausage links I got were definitely old, the color was even off, it there was more barbecue sauce I wouldn't have seen the discoloration. “I was at the Grand Prairie car show and was hungry. Pinche Smokerz was there and I figured it would be OK at best... boy was I wrong. IT WAS FABULOUS! For $20 I got a brisket topped baked potato. Sounds expensive at first but I got 4 meals off of that $20. They use huge potatoes, pile it high with brisket and cheese . So good! Also came with Mac and cheese unlike I've ever had before but I can assure you it won't be the last time I get it. Creamy, cheesy, with a slight hint of heat. YUMMY! It also came with sliced sausage that my husband devoured without giving me any but I assume it was tasty as well. Definitely will be looking for them at future charity events.“

I ordered the 2 meat plate with pulled pork and sliced brisket , mac n cheese, greens &side of cobbler.Meats were tender , well seasoned overall delicious. No complaints there! Only thing is I recommend adding another slice of bread if you want to make a sandwich with your meat. It only comes with one and there’s an extra charge for more.Mac n cheese is different than previous photos, flavor was not there for me and was more like a casseroleGreens were delicious! Had a different taste than your normal thanksgiving plate, almost as iv there was some carribean influence .Cobbler was ok , a tad watery than would’ve liked and too heavy on the nutmegg, but decent and i ate it lol.Overall would 100% go back!“
