“We came in for a Dr’s appointment and I’m so glad we stopped by. The best brisket, rice and beans. I tried the Texas Twinkie (absolutely amazing). 100% recommend if you’re wanting some great bbq. Everyone was very sweet as well.“

“Traditional Texas BBQ. Cafeteria-style service. Brisket tender and moist. Pork ribs were fall off the bone. Sauce is a bit thick and sweet. Traditional sides and desserts (Blue Bell ice cream for your cobbler). Beans in a tomato forward sweet sauce. Coleslaw cut was coarse and wet, which I like. Everybody talks about the fresh-baked rolls and they are right. Light and slightly yeasty. Staff brings extras around throughout dinner. Private room for large parties. Plenty of tables. And clean men's restroom.“

“My husband loves this place. We used to order before they moved off of Matlock to Cooper st. I had meniscus surgery tow days ago and my husbands work gave him a door dash card to help get us food while I’m recovering. We ordered 3 meals and paid over 100.00 and I have to say I’m disappointed due to the small amount of food we received. The portions of the sides were terribly small. I paid 6.99 for a small piece of sweet potato pie. This restaurant is known for their amazing food. Even though the door dash prices are higher and we understand that the portions were not worth the cost. I know the owners are very sweet people. I know times are tough and everything is more expensive. I would never order again through door dash knowing how small the plates are.“

“This Dickey's has not only great food but also an amazing management team and staff. I placed a catering order for a Celebration of Life luncheon. The food was fresh and delicious, the delivery was on time and not a thing was missing from my large order. My calls with Sal, Ray and other staff members all gave me a feeling of confidence that my order was in good hands and that was exactly the way it turned out.“

“The food was ok. Nothing to rave about. Serving size is small for amount charged. Don't expect to have any leftovers if you order the brisket sandwich. There was no brisket hanging over the bun, but it was good. The coleslaw is served in pre-measured styrofoam cups and taste very similar to KFC's coleslaw. Again, nothing to rave about. The peach cobbler was ok. My serving had way more crust than peaches. But it was ok. A brisket sandwich w/upcharge for moist, sm. coleslaw, soda, and sm. peach cobbler came to approx. $25 for lunch with no leftovers. Oh yeah, they really need to offer another type of bottle for the BBQ sauce. They're too heavy and you have to shake them to get the sauce out.“

“Place is great for a good bratwurst or Bacon cheader ranch fries, I came for spring break for a couple days this past week or so and the people running the food stand are fast and experienced. As soon I ordered the food it took 20 seconds to come out , The only complaint is I wish they had lids for their soft drinks.“

“This place has the best Hong Kong style Chinese food. The BBQ roast pork is amazing, and if you are a roast duck (the whole duck) fan then you need to check out this restaurant. They bring out the food as it is ready. We went for my birthday dinner so the plates trickled out for 10 minutes. As we ate family style that was no big dael. It's not a fancy place but super clean and fast efficient service. Thirty years ago I asked this restaurant about their origin and was told that this restaurant was their first outside of the 7 they had in Hong Kong. Cool.“
