“This location is my favorite. I just love everything about FISH CITY Grill. Shout out to Kasey and Mike two great managers who will make sure your experience is everything. Now make sure you try some Gumbo, fried green tomatoes, shrimp or catfish po’boy . Weekly specials are listed on the chalk board. I recently had the crab cake BLT.”

“We were in town for the weekend, so we wanted something familiar for my gluten-free teen. Mari was very polite and helpful. The restaurant was clean and service was quick. My kid got the shrimp Baja tacos and I ended up getting my usual, chicken nachos. Probably the most balanced nachos I've ever gotten. Plenty of cheese and chicken to support all of the chips. Definitely a great place to stop if you're in the area.”

“This is our second time at the waxahatchie location. Our first exp was at the red oak location.

The service is always great and friendly and fast. Last time we had a pizza and wine and it was amazing. This time we had the mozzarella sticks and stuffed mushrooms. I would not recommend the mushrooms. They're different the the red oak ones and better there. I had the tour and it was good though the breaded Parmesan not sure if it was chicken or what but it was hard and chewy. The Alfredo is delicious and so is the lasagna. Also we had the seafood Alfredo it was amazing. I would definitely go back but after here twice I prefer the red oak location.”

“We tried Eggsquisite Cafe in Waxahachie for brunch after church. The wait time was shorter than anticipated. At our table we were greeted with a smile by Cheyenne C. She was very sweet, personable and knowledgeable. We ordered a turkey, avocado, bacon wrap with sweet potato fries & fried okra to split. She had it splt for us before bringing it out. Our food was delivered quickly and was delicious. Even split we couldn't eat it all, so a to-box it was. Everything was perfect but the best part of our visit was Cheyenne and her sweet personality. We will definitely be back.”

“After another local bakery couldn’t accommodate my order, I called Bittersweet Bakery to see if they could make a birthday cake for the weekend, and I’m so glad they were able to help!

The ladies were very friendly when I went in to pick up the cake. The cake itself was beautiful, smelled incredible, and tasted absolutely delicious. I followed the care card instructions, and I was really impressed with how well the cake sliced without falling apart, especially considering it was a tall cake.

Everything about it tasted fresh and made with care. My daughter loved it, and so did our guests. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again!”

“Gunfighter IPA is advertised on their website and on their TV inside the bar for $5.Yet the bartender said that was incorrect. She did not honor it. She probably added her tip or something. They were $8 each and with lots of foam. Will never come here again.”

“Homemade Fries are so good and the smash burger was great too. The bun was perfectly toasted. My only complaint was they charged $1.00 for ranch and it was Clover Valley brand from the Dollar Store. It was gross and obviously way overpriced since the whole bottle is $2.00 at DG.”

“Our church group went here last Saturday afternoon after a church singing. We had about 20 people and we got seated immediately. Heather was our server. Let me tell you folks. She is amazing! Got our drink orders quickly. Remembered what we were drinking, which is mind boggling! Got our food out very quickly and of course it was delicious. Then she split our checks up into about 15-16 separate bills. I highly recommend this place and try to get heather as your server. Great job all around, Cotton Patch! Thank you. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼”

“This was our first time @ Waxahachie location. Overall food was flavorful and good. The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Our only complaint was the meat wasn't warm, almost cold. My husband had Steak and I had Chicken and both plates were the same temperature. Maybe turn up heat on warming plates. Our original plan was to dine in but once we sat down with lukewarm food we decided to take home and rewarm.”

“This is my favor donut spot on Ellis county. I tried a bunch and they are all pretty much same quality and taste. These stand out a little more and they offer more specialty flavors. It’s always packed and they handle the volumes fairly well.”

“Very good Ultimate Italian toasted 😋 Don't let all the lettuce fool you, this sandwich has a good amount of meat. Jimmy Chips are good size compared to most fast food offerings. I used my reward and received the chips free, but they are only $1.99 which is very reasonable for 2 oz bag. Store was clean and music not too loud. All in all, a good experience.”

“We have been visiting Stratford and the Dirty Duck every year since we met. We visited on the first weekend after lockdown restrictions ended for a belated 20th wedding anniversary celebration.We booked a table for drinks with a special request for the window seat in the Actors bar. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and congratulated on our anniversary then shown to the window seat. Table service from the landlord Sam and his team was faultless and friendly. When we got the bill, Sam had given us our first 2 drinks free which was such a lovely touch and made me quite emotional. They had left one of our drinks off the bill so we fessed up and Sam gave us a happy anniversary 'Dirty Duck' post card. Pubs have been so harshly hit by restrictions and we were so touched by their exceptional service. Thanks Sam. You made our weekend. Best of luck for the future. See you again soon.”

“Nice quaint & quiet Mexican Food restaurant located inside the historic Rogers hotel located in downtown Waxahachie, Texas. The food and service were great! The atmosphere is good.Their chips and salsa vere good. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with verde sauce, and it was really good. The overall experience was great. Parking was not an issue at all. Go and give these folks a try. It's a nice alternative to the mainstay Tex-Mex.

One time the ketchup machine was squirting mach 10 and I got ketchup all over my Dallas cowboys hoodie ,it wasn't their year 😑 😂. The service is really good almost all the workers are nice. “I’d been looking for a restaurant that served good black bean burgers near my house and thankfully I found Branded Burger Company. I ordered on DoorDash and as soon as I got it I was amazed at how big was and delicious it tasted. I added avocados and mushrooms to it as well as the lettuce pickles and onions that came on the side.

The fries were also tasty and seasoned well. I will absolutely be ordering from here again when I’m ready for another one of my favorites. It’s nice to have a pace with good veggie options. Thanks BBC!!
