EL ENCANTO is a Mexican food restaurant located in downtown Waxahachie, Texas, inside the historic Rogers hotel. The atmosphere is good, and the food and service are great. Try the chicken enchiladas with verde sauce or the beef enchiladas with red sauce. The homemade red chile sauce enchiladas are a must-try, matching the quality of those in New Mexico. The chips and salsa are excellent, and the owners are awesome. Parking is easy in the hotel parking lot. A nice alternative to Tex-Mex, it's worth giving them a try!
