“I was in Dallas on business, staying at the Westin a few blocks away. It was my last night, I was tired, had an early flight in the morning, and just wanted a quick meal to take back to the room. A quick search showed this fried catfish spot nearby… so yeah, say less. I walked in expecting a basic neighborhood carry-out, but instead was greeted with some of the best service I’ve had in a while which was totally unexpected. It wasn’t fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, and had good music playing. It was a good vibe so decided to eat in at the bar. I didn’t catch her name but the bartender was so nice and kindly walked me through the menu. I ordered a glass of wine and the 2-piece fillet basket. Good Lord, that fish was HOT and delicious! And when I say “fillet,” I mean a full piece of fish not broken up little scraps. Two big pieces were definitely more than enough, but it was so good I ate every bite. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip and will be telling my Dallas office this is the spot! Thanks for the great experience and wishing you all the best in your new location!”

The service at the Red Oak location off Orvilla Rd and 35 access rd was fantastic. We were with treated with good southern hospitality. Tracie the manager made us feel welcomed and brought our food to us at the table. Just plain good customer service. Very rare for a fast food place. We dined in and will definitely go back. When I first walked in, it didn’t seem like the friendliest environment, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, as we were leaving, Brooklyn completely changed my perspective. Her smile, kindness, and outstanding customer service truly sealed the deal for me. Brooklyn was so sweet, welcoming, and genuine. She made us feel appreciated as customers, and that type of service goes a long way. I would suggest that everyone on staff take a page from Brooklyn’s book when it comes to customer service. “Went for lunch ordered the taco plate, chicken/pork tamales and Barbacoa nachos. Nachos- meat was tender ordered with all items comes with beans. Tacos- flavorful the birria was fav. Tamales-have good portion of meat inside chicken was fav. Would go back. The salsa homemade spice different on each. No seating inside. Have space to eat outside under shade area with tables..”

“I got the new/returning catfish and two chicken tenders with fries.

The chicken was crispy on the outside and hot and tender on the inside.

The catfish was breaded perfectly and was hot and tender. It was so tender it falls apart eating it.

They have multiple levels of heat, or, no heat. Start with medium and work your way up.

“On the day that I went, I was picking up my food versus dining in. The pickup of food was slow. So I had to get out of my car and go inside to the counter, after waiting for the food to be delivered to me. Hopefully that was just a one off.”
