The catfish was fried perfectly, crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside. It was also perfectly seasoned, just spicy enough for me to enjoy (I got medium). The fries were also cooked and seasoned perfectly. And it was sooo filling!!!The second time I had it (different day), I ordered the same thing, catfish and fries, because it was just that good! However, I was disappointed to find the fillets were smaller and cooked too hard, so it wasn’t flaky on the inside like the first time. Also, the fries were hard. So I went to speak with the manager Ce-Ce directly later that day, because it was so different from the first time. The manager was very open to listen and receptive of the feedback I had given. She didn’t get offended or upset, which showed me that she truly cared about her product (food) AND customers, which I loved because this is VERY RARE these days. So of course I went back (a different day) and got catfish, chicken tenders and fries, and EVERYTHING was seasoned and cooked PERFECTLY!! And it was EVEN BETTER this time only because I didn’t wait to eat my food so it was HOT & FRESH!!Because of this I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you order from 2 Neighbors Hot Chicken. Most places overcharge you for small portions and barely speak when they see you, but the people here acknowledge you AND you get a good portion at a reasonable price. That’s a WIN WIN for me! “Most people take out, I see very few people in the dining area at this location. I give them 4 stars on food because not every dish shines. If I could rank their main courses, I would put their fried catfish first, followed by the tenders, then the chicken and last the livers and gizzards. This last one is tough to get right. That being said, the chicken is good with crispy crust; the white meat is not dry. The fries are frozen and crinkle-cut but fried well. The mashed potatoes are from powder, kinda reminds me of what you would get in a school lunch, but again, not bad. The green beans are good but nothing fancy. They also have corn nuggets and fried okra. It used to be dirt cheap, but prices have gone up like everything else. That being said, for the price, it doesn't ask anything of places like KFC or Golden Chick. If you order a family meal, you will also get a 2-liter coke, rolls, and jalapeños. I used to eat at one of these in Fort Worth all the time; it never disappointed. Do a search; you may be surprised to find one near you. They definitely have more locations in Fort Worth. For the money, their catfish can't be beat. You can get full on 2 filets and a side. I would call the fish their signature dish. Try it, you won't be disappointed.“
“My 103 year old Grandma was telling me about this place and she wanted some fish. She said my uncle used to drive there from Oak Cliff when he was alive. So when I surprised her today with the fish she was so happy. I have to say pretty damn good. The service was great not like Mason when I went a couple of weeks ago now they were rude.“

“This is by far my favorite canes EVER. The chicken is always crispy, but not too crispy. The fries are golden and salted just right. The tea is sweet and the lemonade is strong, The coleslaw is fresh and crunchy it isn’t overpowered with mayo either. It’s also open until almost 4 am, it’s very convenient. The workers are nice and courteous I’ve never had a problem with my orders.
