“Customer service was awesome. When we placed our order, they immediately indicated there would be a 20 minute wait and asked if we were ok with that. We were not in a hurry so we waited. They gave us extra just for waiting. The team was extremely nice. Food was hot and good. ?“
“Our waitress kept trying to represent your soft drinks as the real thing. When somebody ask if it was real Dr pepper she replied yes and seem to get angry when I corrected them.Parking: Could not find handicapped ramp, and it was very difficult for me to get up and down the stairsWheelchair accessibility: None that we could find“
“I don't know how or what to think after experiencing this sandwich.... I thought my husband ordered him one but he just ordered me one. We shared it. The pic is what happened 1 sec later after bitting the the spicy chicken. This is no McDonald's . This is not Popeyes. It's better. I don't have a lieing bone in my body. I live in Rockwall but baby anytime I am on this side of town, I will be saving calories for one of these. Thank you!!!!“
“Most people take out, I see very few people in the dining area at this location. I give them 4 stars on food because not every dish shines. If I could rank their main courses, I would put their fried catfish first, followed by the tenders, then the chicken and last the livers and gizzards. This last one is tough to get right. That being said, the chicken is good with crispy crust; the white meat is not dry. The fries are frozen and crinkle-cut but fried well. The mashed potatoes are from powder, kinda reminds me of what you would get in a school lunch, but again, not bad. The green beans are good but nothing fancy. They also have corn nuggets and fried okra. It used to be dirt cheap, but prices have gone up like everything else. That being said, for the price, it doesn't ask anything of places like KFC or Golden Chick. If you order a family meal, you will also get a 2-liter coke, rolls, and jalapeños. I used to eat at one of these in Fort Worth all the time; it never disappointed. Do a search; you may be surprised to find one near you. They definitely have more locations in Fort Worth. For the money, their catfish can't be beat. You can get full on 2 filets and a side. I would call the fish their signature dish. Try it, you won't be disappointed.“
“My 103 year old Grandma was telling me about this place and she wanted some fish. She said my uncle used to drive there from Oak Cliff when he was alive. So when I surprised her today with the fish she was so happy. I have to say pretty damn good. The service was great not like Mason when I went a couple of weeks ago now they were rude.“
“The fried fish is the best around by far! Fries are perfectly seasoned. I didn’t try the chicken tenders my sons both said they liked them a lot and even mentioned a couple of days later. Lady customer was being sort of rude when I walked in but the staff handled it well. Tried the gumbo too, too much rice in it for me but some would appreciate that. Will definitely return.“
“They have been pretty consistent across the board the past few times we've ordered!! Their tartar sauce is the BEST better get extra!!! The catfish, and chicken is great and their fried shrimp and shrimp fried rice plate is soooooo good!!!! They also sell Calypso drinks! So far the best corn fritters too.“
“I just moved here from San Diego and this was my second time to the restaurant I'm a chicken salad lover and especially on croissants The food is outstanding including the grape salad ? I bought 2 different chicken salads and the grape salad for my lunch and snacks during the week I highly recommend it I will be returningParking: It was somewhat tight finding a place to park since it is shared with other businesses but it's ok“
