Down home soulful eating my wife says all the time , you don’t know what you missing. As a Dj I travel and do a lot of parties and almost always get offered food to go ! “I can’t say enough good things about Slim Chickens! We came here tonight for the first time. It was a pre-pandemic experience! The salt and pepper was out. All the napkins and lids and straws and plastic ware. Everything other places now hoard behind the counter and grumble to give you… Slim Chickens gives you! And with a smile!! Great great place.“

“I Google good lunch in Midlothian and this popped up. My daughter and I tried it and it was delicious. I tried the southern one and my daughter tried the one with cranberries. (Can't remember the names)
The young lady that helped us at the register was super nice and allowed me to try a certain bread and chicken salad before I purchased. That was very nice.
It was a great place and I look forward to going again.“
