“I can’t say enough good things about Slim Chickens! We came here tonight for the first time. It was a pre-pandemic experience! The salt and pepper was out. All the napkins and lids and straws and plastic ware. Everything other places now hoard behind the counter and grumble to give you… Slim Chickens gives you! And with a smile!! Great great place.“

“The food was amazing! We went for a business breakfast. I had the biscuits and gravy and my colleague had the red velvet waffle tacos (I took a taste) - all of it was great! Come hungry! Good place to meet for business, friends or family. The service was awesome! Friendly and just the right amount of attentive. Highly recommend!“

“The only complaint I have about Black-Pea Restaurant is that I have to drive so far to get to it from Houston TX. Please please bring one back to Houston Tx. Preferably in the Spring Branch area. Thank you for the great food y'all have!“

“We had the best waitress! She introduced herself as Red & worked the bar area. We were having a bad day & she helped cheer us up. She makes a great Painkiller! Would love to sit in her area if we were to visit again but we are not from this area unfortunately.“
