“We were in town for the weekend, so we wanted something familiar for my gluten-free teen. Mari was very polite and helpful. The restaurant was clean and service was quick. My kid got the shrimp Baja tacos and I ended up getting my usual, chicken nachos. Probably the most balanced nachos I've ever gotten. Plenty of cheese and chicken to support all of the chips. Definitely a great place to stop if you're in the area.“

“Stopped by The Pelican House for some Louisiana Cajun flavor and it did not disappoint! I ordered the grilled seafood platter,super flavorful and cooked just right. You can really taste the seasoning in every bite. I also tried the peach cobbler, and it was spot on. Perfect balance of breading and peachesn not too heavy, not too sweet. Shoutout to Louis, the owner, for the great conversation and sharing some helpful advice about opening a restaurant. That personal touch made the experience even better. Definitely coming back!“

“We tried Eggsquisite Cafe in Waxahachie for brunch after church. The wait time was shorter than anticipated. At our table we were greeted with a smile by Cheyenne C. She was very sweet, personable and knowledgeable. We ordered a turkey, avocado, bacon wrap with sweet potato fries & fried okra to split. She had it splt for us before bringing it out. Our food was delivered quickly and was delicious. Even split we couldn't eat it all, so a to-box it was. Everything was perfect but the best part of our visit was Cheyenne and her sweet personality. “Came in on a whim and tried the chicken kebab plate and stuffed grape leaves. Chicken was definitely marinated, seasoned, and grilled so nicely and the rice was very flavorful. Lunch portion was enough to have leftovers (for me). They give you the dolmas that are warm and lemony which I much prefer to the ones served cold. I'll be back to try the lamb!“

“We were staying at a nearby camp and ordered food for some of our staff. I called in our order to be ready at 8:30, and Pedro, one of the managers went above and beyond - even going to the dollar store to be able to provide serving utensils for us. He and their staff brought all the food to our car and the meat was ready to be loaded at 8:30 sharp to ensure it would still be hot when I got it back. The amount of food was so generous and the staff loved the meal. I wish I lived closer as this would be on our regular rotation for eating out. Fantastic experience!“

“Been going for years and food is always very good. Staff always friendly. Not crazy about a claw machine now in the center of the dining experience - cheapens the place. But really do enjoy the food and lovely staff. Sushi rolls especially are top notch.“

“Our church group went here last Saturday afternoon after a church singing. We had about 20 people and we got seated immediately. Heather was our server. Let me tell you folks. She is amazing! Got our drink orders quickly. Remembered what we were drinking, which is mind boggling! Got our food out very quickly and of course it was delicious. There was a gentleman and a woman outside around noon. They busted their butts making sure the walk ways were clear. Not only that, but they were picking up ice chunks by the drive thru to make it safe and smooth for us. They went above and beyond (literally). I hope you'll will do something nice for them. They both had on head sets and the young lady had on glasses. They truly cared and didn't rush even though it was so cold today.,“
