“La Calle Doce is a gem! We went for Friday lunch and loved everything—the cozy, beautifully maintained old house, peaceful vibe, and excellent service. I had the lunch special with fish soup and a ceviche tostada, and my husband had the salmon salad. Both were incredible, and the spicy ranch waters were a fun bonus. Some of the best food I’ve had in Dallas—can’t wait to go back!”

“The best old school Kool aid in the entire metroplex. The fish is some of the best also. There is space to dine in but this is a no frills place. The food is the draw here. I recommend calling in for pick-up which I noticed is what most do. There is a constant flow of customers which also means there is a constant flow of fresh cooked food.
It's good so check them out. Oh yeah, they have a huge selections of cakes.”

“Second time for a gaggle of planes to come in for lunch. Agree with other reviews. Little short staffed, but with our big crowd, understanable. The breakfasts (served all day) are really good. Burgers are average size and plenty of fixins and fries were OK too. Nice and VERY clean cafe and terminal bldg. I'd call it at $75 hamburger, just short of a $100 burger :-) Recommend the breakfasts A+++ Will be on our radar when a bunch of us want to fly down for a good meal.”

“Very inviting, chill atmosphere. The young man who took my order wad quiet-spoken and sweet. They ran out of the ice cream I want but accommodated me by making me a single serving with what they had on hand. Kudos 👏 . Cookies were fresh and delicious.

Update: 2nd visit was even better. The banana pudding ice cream was delicious, it tasted just like the real deal, I could see and taste the cookies in every bite. The ones cookie and the oatmeal cookies are my go-to cookie flavor, did not disappoint.”

“I love this place. First of all I don't get drinks from Starbucks anymore because no matter what I get and where I get it Starbucks coffee (iced or hot) tastes burnt to me. It's like drinking raw coffee grounds. The coffee offerings at Dutch Brothers have never tasted 'burnt' to me. I love this location so much, Cammy, Slowmi and everyone else I can't think of right now (sorry if I butchered the spelling ladies <3) are always making me laugh and have an amazing vibe. I wish management would give people more hours or hire more barristas because even though everyone at this location is super friendly and personable I can tell the constant line of customers is wearing on them. Mgmt: give them more hours, hire more help or something to help the employees out please, Staff: Keep up that punk rock trash panda energy <3”

“Today 5/30/26 we encountered the rudest group of individuals dining during lunch. They were being 100% disrespectful to the employee running the front area. I wish I had gotten her name but she handled the situation with complete grace. To those individuals, you should be ashamed for bringing your no home training to a public place.”

“I know some people will have different experiences. Mine was good, went for my kiddos. Just a blue coconut sno cone, flavoring was good, shaved ice was good, no complaints. They are cash only, and it looks like they do have alot of flavors but some are marked out so maybe they are in the process of changing/adding to the menu.
My other kiddo just got plain shaved ice and she loved it.
We would definitely come back, our wait time wasn't long, also we went on like a Monday, so it seemed steady but we didnt wait long.”
