“We loved John's Place!! We had a group of 5 for lunch and they were so accommodating. The service was outstanding. All of the staff were so kind. And the food was OUTSTANDING! We were all raving about our dishes. The food is all scratch made and you can tell they put so much love into everything. The desserts were divine as well. You must try the tiramisu. It was so so good! It's inside a historic hotel so we even got to hear about a few of the ghost tenants. All in all it was a 100/10 experience and we already want to plan a weekend trip to Waxahachie again - and if we do - John's Place will be a stop for sure!“

“I don’t typically write reviews but I was impressed with the service today , not only from our server but another server serving a table behind us. Our server was Jazelle , she was highly attentive, quick, and super sweet. She made this such an easy visit with a toddler. There was a table behind us who was being more difficult and the server (I believe his name is Hayden) was very patient, kind and knowledgeable answering all of the questions & requests (demands) they had. Overall very great experience for a Friday afternoon lunch!“

“I had a curbside pick up order and my order was brought out in a timely manner. The young lady was nice enough to ask if I wanted Parmesan and Peppers and went back inside and grabbed them with no problem. Greatly appreciated her customer service!“

“Brought our friend to celebrate her birthday tonight. It was incredible! She wanted cozy, yummy food. I was blown away! The artichoke dip was the best I’ve ever tasted. Slightly spicy and full of flavor. I had a shrimp and crawfish pasta dish and it was out of this world. One friend had delicious salmon and the other an incredible lemon butter garlic shrimp pasta. I’ll be returning. Italian isn’t usually my go to food. But Mo and Hari just changed a girl’s life!“
