Habaneros is a Mexican restaurant that offers delicious and excellent food, according to reviewers. The service is reported to be outstanding, with attentive and respectful waitstaff. The manager, Karla, is noted for being very attentive to drink and food orders. The atmosphere is described as charming and clean, making it a nice place to dine.
The menu includes options such as menudo, tacos de barbacoa, parrillada, beef enchiladas, and sopapilla & churros for dessert. The Molcajete is tasty with a large portion and the meat is very well seasoned. The beef enchiladas were great and delish, and the rice and beans were exceptional. The parrillada for two is particularly highlighted, with reviewers amazed by the flavor of the rice and beans. The sopapilla & churros are recommended for dessert, said to be freshly made and served hot, pairing well with vanilla ice cream.
While the restaurant is appreciated for its convenience, including easy parking and wheelchair accessibility, there are some concerns. The prices for appetizers are seen as high, and there is a charge for chip refills, which some find off-putting. They charge $2.99 for any additional chips and $4 for a soda/tea/lemonade. For parties of six, gratuity is automatically added. Though the food is reasonably priced and has great flavor, the waiting time for food can be long, even when the restaurant is not busy. Despite these issues, Habaneros remains a kid-friendly spot where families can enjoy their meals, and overall, reviewers highly recommend it and plan to return frequently.
