“Great food and Service“

“5 ⭐ for chinese takeout. The food is ALWAYS FRESH. Servings are plentiful. They don't skimp with the shrimp-nice and plump. I come at least 2-3 times a month for my chinese fast food fix. The restaurant has a 'mom and pop' type of feel and I'm always greeted with warm smiles. I drive from Cedar Hill, passing by multiple chinese restaurants to eat here. Below I had the chicken kung pao (fav), cashew chicken (another fav), and honey walnut shrimp (1st try) with the sauce on the side. They were all delicious. I'm exploring their entire menu and they haven't come short yet. Please keep up the great work and thank you so much!“

“I did this via doordash delivery as I was feeling lazy today. I had the managers special orange chicken which just means you get fried rice w/chicken and an eggroll on the side. The food is good and I don't really have any complaints. Very large quantity (to me), makes 2 meals. I will buy from them again.“

“I have been to Golden Gate on two separate occasions each time I have back the chicken lo mein with hot and sour soup this past Tuesday I ordered (on accident )chow mein with hot sour soup and I received a call from Golden Gate asking if I meant to order this and if I did, they can keep it the same but if I didn’t, they’ll change it for me so I can get my typical order if that does not go to show how above and beyond they will go for their customers I don’t know what is. I definitely will continue to frequent golden gate because they reached out whenever I made a mistake and they did not have to.“

“I gave it a 4 only because of this one incident I had there a few wks ago... Normally it's pretty good service, quick and efficient.. I'm usually in and out rather I'm picking up an order or ordering something for myself... A few wks ago I decided to stop by and grab me a meal before work, while making my way into the entrance to park there was another customer casually backing into the parking lot ahead of me to park... I didn't blow my horn or rush him, I couldn't see the ethnicity of the person all I know is that I have to get in and out so I can be at work on time... I patiently waited for the guy to park and then I proceeded to park afterwards... I powered walked into the building to make my order and leave quickly because I was pressed for time. There were no other customers waiting, it was just me... The person that was there to serve the customers including I guess manager fumbled around behind the counter, I guess waiting for the guy to enter the store.. once he entered they served him first and had me wait several minutes to serve me... The problem I have with that is I'm not sure if it looked a certain way as if I was just trying to be first or something but it wasn't right ... I wasn't trying to be first , I was just trying to be on time to work. Ultimately I now realize I was treated unfairly that day. I use to work in fast food, I didn't treat anyone like that. It wasn't professional, it was more so emotional because why make me wait? They thought I was trying to go ahead of someone and that wasn't the case... At first I wasn't going to say anything and just move on but for some reason this morning it's on my mind... Otherwise the food is delicious and service is normally good... Sn it wasn't about race, everyone involved were people of color. It was an employee trying to put me in my place based off of what she perceived/assumed smh“
