“Really good food and price is affordable. I don’t eat much so it was literally enough for me and my 22 year old always hungry grandson. His favorite food is Chinese and he didn’t leave a morsel of crumbs.

“I went to Empire buffet, and it was really nice. The place looked beautiful inside, with clean decor and a calm, relaxing vibe. It felt more modern than most buffets and everything was well organized.
The food was good too, with a lot of options to choose from. Everything looked fresh and nicely set up.

“Staff was super nice greeted me when I walked in. I got the sesame chicken, an egg roll and one chicken tender to try. The chicken tenders were flavorful and crispy! The sesame chicken was also really yummy! Definitely gonna be back to get a tender combo, also the prices were very reasonable as well.“

“I want to give this restaurant a 5 star review, but I can't because then it wouldn't be honest. The restaurant is clean, beautiful, friendly service, and the food tastes good, but I can't give them 5 stars because the food is NOT authentic asian cuisine... I noticed that the rice is NOT Jasmine, and in fact, it tasted somewhat like Spanish rice. It was prepared with a Spanish twist the way it's cooked in Spanish culture. Perhaps some of the seasonings they used weren't asian... it didn't give off the stir fried rice flavors... The egg rolls seemed to be prepared from frozen to deep fried, which ruins the flavors and becomes soggy with oil. After some observations, I noticed that there were no actual asian employees... the food was prepared by Mexicans, which explains the Spanish flavors. I love Spanish food, but I came to enjoy chinese. Perhaps the chef may need to buy authentic chinese ingredients from the asian supermarkets nearby and implement them into the dishes they prepare daily so that the flavors can be preserved and customers can enjoy actual chinese food. That's just my recommendations and opinion. Other than that, the food was still very good 👍 👌 😋 and I still recommend this restaurant. I also want to add that there is a liquor store next door, which has people loitering and doing nefarious activities... it gives the area bad vibes of crime which negatively affects this beautiful friendly asian restaurant. I was concerned about someone breaking into my vehicle while eating at this restaurant. It's not the restaurant's fault... it's the liquor store responsibility to ensure their customers don't break loitering rules.“

“I did this via doordash delivery as I was feeling lazy today. I had the managers special orange chicken which just means you get fried rice w/chicken and an eggroll on the side. The food is good and I don't really have any complaints. Very large quantity (to me), makes 2 meals. I will buy from them again.“

Nostalgia, my gram and I used to eat Chinese together but our local places are nothing spectacular and I honestly stopped trying to find a good place. Well..Jade dragon hit the spot. “It’s a little hard to find, but this whole underground area is quite nostalgic and the restaurant itself has a cool old-school aura to it. The orange chicken was great and the person who took my order was very kind. Everyone who comes here seems to come here all the time.

To get to this place you have to enter One Main Place, go a floor down, exit out the “plaza level,” and go around a couple corners. It might take some searching around.“

“I went to this place for the 1st time. It's a take out type of restaurant meaning you will not be eating there. I ordered orange chicken because I have been craving it. I ordered it extra crispy and with fried rice. When I got home it wasn't crispy at all and it came with white rice. I also ordered egg drop soup and it had no flavor. The egg rolls were good. The beef mongolian noodles were good. I might give it one more try without ordering the soup and maybe order something different.“

“We were in town staying at a nearby hotel and was wanting Chinese food. My husband agreed to go out and pick up the order. We ordered online and found the process smooth and seamless.
Here is what we ordered:

2 quart sized honey chicken meals and got the fried rice with one and shrimp fried rice with the other. The honey chicken tastes like orange chicken with a hint of honey. Not very sticky or flavorful.
I give it a 7/10

My husband ordered some wonton soup and said it needed some green onions or something to add flavor. He said it was a good size and was a nice proportion of broth and noodle dumpling. He said it was a 7/10

The rice was yellow (thought it would be brownish due to soy sauce) and wasnt bad but didn’t have much flavor. I added duck sauce to try to spruce it up. The shrimp fried rice seemed like the shrimp was cooked separate from the rice. It was not incorporated well into the rice and didnt have a lot of flavor or seasoning. Just nice sized pink shrimp in rice (that werent deveined). I give the rice a 6/10

The best thing were the eggrolls. Although they were a bit salty they did have flavor and were crispy and good. I give the eggrolls a 8/10

Everything was hot and fresh but I dont know if I were ever in town Id order again from Lui’s Kitchen.

We moved to Texas from another state that had extremely good Chinese food so maybe our bar is high. I say try it for yourself. You may like it.

“I have been to Golden Gate on two separate occasions each time I have back the chicken lo mein with hot and sour soup this past Tuesday I ordered (on accident )chow mein with hot sour soup and I received a call from Golden Gate asking if I meant to order this and if I did, they can keep it the same but if I didn’t, they’ll change it for me so I can get my typical order if that does not go to show how above and beyond they will go for their customers I don’t know what is. Rice was bland and overcooked, and the Thai Dynamite I had was listed as spicy, but it was also pretty bland until I added a bunch of siracha that the server kindly offered. Sushi was better, but did not come with ginger. My feeling is that they are attempting too much with their large menu with Thai, Chinese, and Sushi. They need to simplify their menu down. Also pricing is too high for what you are getting.“
