“Really good food and price is affordable. I don’t eat much so it was literally enough for me and my 22 year old always hungry grandson. His favorite food is Chinese and he didn’t leave a morsel of crumbs.

“Its a nice place. They had pot roast that tasted home cooked and so delicious! However it is only served at dinner. I have been been a few times and I think the dinner which ive only had once on a Sunday is more to my liking than the lunch. It is reasonably priced though. I will go back and update of anything changes. I am going to go for dinner and i can actually say if the dinner is more appealing than lunch.“

“We are not local and decided to give this place a try after reading previous reviews. I loved every bit. Nostalgia, my gram and I used to eat Chinese together but our local places are nothing spectacular and I honestly stopped trying to find a good place. Well..Jade dragon hit the spot. Brought me back and a flood of memories kicked in. The food was amazing, the restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. “I did this via doordash delivery as I was feeling lazy today. I had the managers special orange chicken which just means you get fried rice w/chicken and an eggroll on the side. The food is good and I don't really have any complaints. Very large quantity (to me), makes 2 meals. I will buy from them again.“

“It’s a little hard to find, but this whole underground area is quite nostalgic and the restaurant itself has a cool old-school aura to it. The orange chicken was great and the person who took my order was very kind. Everyone who comes here seems to come here all the time.

To get to this place you have to enter One Main Place, go a floor down, exit out the “plaza level,” and go around a couple corners. It might take some searching around.“

“I went to this place for the 1st time. It's a take out type of restaurant meaning you will not be eating there. I ordered orange chicken because I have been craving it. I ordered it extra crispy and with fried rice. When I got home it wasn't crispy at all and it came with white rice. I also ordered egg drop soup and it had no flavor. The egg rolls were good. The beef mongolian noodles were good. I might give it one more try without ordering the soup and maybe order something different.“

“If you are looking for the flavor of the old school chinese resturant. This is the place. Imagine a $9.25 Lunch Buffet, that has egg rolls, slamming Lo Mein, and the best flavored sesame chicken i had in years. I went at 2 pm, so the pickings were slim, but delicious. I felt I got my moneys worth, and a great, satisfying meal. This is an icon of Oak Cliff. Decor a little dated, but excellent food for a lunch takeout. Also the Mongolian beef and onions was superb! Green beans fresh and crunchy good. ♥♥“

“We were in town staying at a nearby hotel and was wanting Chinese food. My husband agreed to go out and pick up the order. We ordered online and found the process smooth and seamless.
Here is what we ordered:

2 quart sized honey chicken meals and got the fried rice with one and shrimp fried rice with the other. The honey chicken tastes like orange chicken with a hint of honey. Not very sticky or flavorful.
I give it a 7/10

My husband ordered some wonton soup and said it needed some green onions or something to add flavor. He said it was a good size and was a nice proportion of broth and noodle dumpling. He said it was a 7/10

The rice was yellow (thought it would be brownish due to soy sauce) and wasnt bad but didn’t have much flavor. I added duck sauce to try to spruce it up. The shrimp fried rice seemed like the shrimp was cooked separate from the rice. It was not incorporated well into the rice and didnt have a lot of flavor or seasoning. Just nice sized pink shrimp in rice (that werent deveined). I give the rice a 6/10

The best thing were the eggrolls. Although they were a bit salty they did have flavor and were crispy and good. I give the eggrolls a 8/10

Everything was hot and fresh but I dont know if I were ever in town Id order again from Lui’s Kitchen.

We moved to Texas from another state that had extremely good Chinese food so maybe our bar is high. I say try it for yourself. You may like it.

“I have been to Golden Gate on two separate occasions each time I have back the chicken lo mein with hot and sour soup this past Tuesday I ordered (on accident )chow mein with hot sour soup and I received a call from Golden Gate asking if I meant to order this and if I did, they can keep it the same but if I didn’t, they’ll change it for me so I can get my typical order if that does not go to show how above and beyond they will go for their customers I don’t know what is. “Good morning, I placed an order yesterday evening. Grubhub delivered on time. The only problem is that my order was for CHICKEN LO MEIN. I'm not sure why my food was chicken lo mein mixed with shrimp and beef strips. All I wanted was CHICKEN LO MEIN like I've ordered in the past.

Don't get me wrong it was good but my husband was not able to eat it since it had shrimp in it. He's allergic to shrimp. I'm a lil disappointed hopefully next time it's not mixed. Thank you!“

Just would need a little remodel on the inside and the outside because I mean it looks a little dull. I’m not gonna lie. Definitely need some brighter.
