Jonathon’s had been on my list since I moved to Dallas. It’s a local favorite, so I was glad to go.Unfortunately, I wasn’t blown away. The service was mid - it wasn’t as welcoming as I’d expect from a diner. It kind of felt as if they were indifferent about serving us.The atmosphere is fine, it’s what you’d expect from a diner. We went today for the 1st time while in town visiting family. The food was amazing. I got the chicken and biscuit and loved every bit of it. It was so full of flavor. We had a party of 6, and each person said it was one of the best brunch places we have ever been to. Michael was out waiter, and he was phenomenal. He was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend eating here. We will be coming back next time we are in town.

Was skeptical about the gravy seeing that I don’t like anyone’s gravy but the gravy mixed with the syrupy on the chicken and waffle was different but pretty good. Plus their Menu has options for those who don’t like Pork also. Will recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice fulfilling meal for a nice buck and a nice drink.
