“This is my favorite donut shop. I don’t even really live close to this shop but I go out of my way to come over here. The staff is amazing and very sweet. They have the cutest character donuts for kids. Kolaches and donut holes are always delicious! I hesitated to go inside because I was expecting bread to be not good or like in other places but, wow fluffy bread the concha's are my favorite. Although I live a bit far it's worth the drive.“

“I have had a lot of donuts, but these are by far my favorite donuts. They are light and fluffy with plenty of glaze. They are never greasy or oily. There is a wide selection of other breakfast item including the breakfast bacon cheese burger which is out of this world. The owner is the sweatiest lady! She noticed my repeat returns really quick. I have been coming for 5 years now. I don’t live around garland so I only get them as a treat when I work out here a few times a month so I buy extra. I bring them home to my wife and kids and they loves them 6-8 hours after purchase. If you like fresh jalapeños she has a great selection of items with soft sweet jalapeño baked in and on them. You are the best Mrs. Song!“
“Out of dozens of donut shops I have been to, this is the second shop to make my order how I want it. I always order 2 exclairs with extra filling and they did not disappoint. I will be back. And if you are like me and enjoy jalapeños in your Kolache, expect a little kick. They actually use jalapeños with a little heat. Soft donuts, good Kolache and croissants, great job Family Donuts!“

Coffee was hot and fresh variety of drinks except credit card. Nice little place to stop by. They do stay busy throughout the day, which is a good sign of good business.“
“Great Breakfast Stop!!! Everything purchased was fresh and the service was amazing!I initially stopped by to try their beignets (made to order!) along with kolaches and assorted donuts. My purchase consisted of beignets (3), breakfast sandwich (croissant with sausage, egg and cheese), small traditional kolaches and a croissant kolache with sausage and bacon. On the sweeter side - cake donut, old fashioned (sour cream), a dozen donut holes, chocolate sprinkle donut and pink glazed donut.On my return visit the next morning -Feeding 4 adults and a toddler. I decided to try the boudin kolache- it was very good! I purchased 2 boudin kolaches, 3 croissant breakfast sandwiches, and 3 regular kolaches. Again, with the cake donuts, old fashioneds and donut w/chocolate sprinkles.Pictures below are from my second trip - no pictures the first day...“
