“Joan’s cheesecake was out of this world! When I was on her website, I didn’t see cherry cheesecake on her menu and when I contacted Joan to see if she could make one she happily agreed! My husband fell in love with her cherry cheesecake, which is quite the accomplishment. He hasn’t been able to find one that didn’t leave such a bad after taste. Joan’s cherry cheesecake was so delicious. It blows the cheesecake factory out of the park! It was so creamy and the cherries were the best we’ve ever tasted. He had given up trying to find a good Cherry cheesecake too. I don’t really care for cherries on a pie or cheesecake, but I LOVED the way Joan made them. The weren’t overly sweet and they weren’t too tart. I recommend Joan to everyone. Joan will definitely be my go to for cheesecake and I can’t wait to try all the other cakes as well! “I have never had a craving satiated so hard!! I was sitting in my car on the way home thinking about how good a cake pop would be, so I looked around and found Latham online. The cake pop as soooo good! Perfect frosting to cake ratio and awesome texture. Will definitely be back for more cake pops and other sweets in the future“

“You don't often find a place with 100% on reviews but if anywhere deserves that score it is Latinos Bakery. The thing is; calling it a bakery is only half the story. They also have fresh cooked tamales and an entire menu of authentic Mexican cuisine. I've tried a number of things but the tamales and tacos are my favorite. The tacos are the pre-Covid price of $8.49 for 5 and the tamales are $20 a dozen. They are worth EVERY PENNY! I love the Roja sauce and my wife likes the verde. The pork tamales are the best but the chicken and cheese are amazing as well. The pastries and such are what give it the bakery name but the real treat is the Tres Leches cake. They have classic or chocolate and both are amazing. I just can't recommend this place enough. The they are always nice and smiling to me and even let me try stuff if I'm curious but not ready to commit to ordering a whole plate. This is how every business needs to be run! Now excuse me, I need to rest because I nearly overdosed on tamales and tres leches!“

I’m telling you these concha’s and cookies were so soft and delicious! And Benito and his staff are so kind and accommodating! The price was beyond less than what I was even expecting.

But I would recommend the desserts for any events or family gatherings.“

The employees are enthusiastic and really accommodating. You can see them making the pretzels behind the glass and they keep their work stations clean.

The lemonade is great, but the sodas can be hit or miss depending on the carbonation.“

“What an amazing place for all your speciality occasion cakes! I got mine made here for my wedding and it was perfect! I got a naked cake with flowers and she even made it perfectly fitting with my cake topper! I’m so happy to have found this place and will continue to go back for more! Also, the cake taste sooo good. It was light, airy and not sweet at all. We got the whipped frosting and it was just the perfect dessert!“

“So we got the Dubai chocolate, chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, double chocolate chip, oatmeal rasin, oatmeal chocolate chip, a chocolate brownie and a salted caramel blondie. All. Of. Them. are good! They are fresh and delicious. They put the perfect amount of creme filling in the middle of the Dubai chocolate cookies. Some of the topping did fall of the top so be careful taking that first bite! I have zero complaints. The smell of the shop had me so ready to try the cookies! The packaging is too cute. They also have different packaging options for multiple occasions! “My family loves this place. In a city where donut shops abound on every block, we have tried a dozen spots around Garland and this is absolutely the best donut and kolache place there is! The blueberry cake donuts, glazed donuts, strawberry donuts and the cinnamon rolls are the best. But, we love their kolaches the most. They have a honey glaze and taste that others don't. And they are so kind and generous with their customers. We love this family who runs it, and go out of our way to support them over other places. I've tried a few places in Dallas and this business tops their fancy kolaches. And their prices are better than the majority of competitors. Added bonus, a drive thru window!“

“I simply love Auntie Anne's pretzel's. One of my favorite spots for a quick treat. This location is a very small building, so only a couple people can stand inside at a time, so when it's busy expect to be waiting in line outside. Never a long wait, though.“
