“Today met a dear friend for breakfast, my first time at La Casita. I ordered an egg and vegetable hash that was delicious along with a wonderful cappuccino. It was a delight to find a cappuccino with such well proportioned and balanced flavor, a relief from the huge milky offerings so many other places serve. We shared a guava and strawberry filled pop tart, which involved a perfect delicious tender flaky pastry wrapped around a both slightly sweet and tart filling. Our server, Tess, was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped us with our selections, and later we were treated by Jesus to a scrumptious seasonal glazed bun. That glazed bun was honestly too good for words, mildly sweet, hint of cinnamon, just oodles of delicious texture and subtle flavor. Obviously, I will return soon.“

She created the coolest Fortnite themed cake for the groom that looked incredible and tasted great. The wedding cake was three tiered, delicious, and beautiful. “You don't often find a place with 100% on reviews but if anywhere deserves that score it is Latinos Bakery. The thing is; calling it a bakery is only half the story. They also have fresh cooked tamales and an entire menu of authentic Mexican cuisine. I've tried a number of things but the tamales and tacos are my favorite. The tacos are the pre-Covid price of $8.49 for 5 and the tamales are $20 a dozen. They are worth EVERY PENNY! I love the Roja sauce and my wife likes the verde. The pork tamales are the best but the chicken and cheese are amazing as well. The pastries and such are what give it the bakery name but the real treat is the Tres Leches cake. They have classic or chocolate and both are amazing. I just can't recommend this place enough. The they are always nice and smiling to me and even let me try stuff if I'm curious but not ready to commit to ordering a whole plate. This is how every business needs to be run! Now excuse me, I need to rest because I nearly overdosed on tamales and tres leches!“

“Keki nails the flavors — their matcha (made with oat milk by default) and coffee drinks are well-balanced, and while pretty sweet, they are not overly sweet. The downside? The drinks come in small portions, and with lots of ice. A later visit when I asked for light ice, the cups weren’t filled since the owner said the drink amounts are pre-measured.

I tried the gluten-free Basque cheesecake but it was denser than I expected and lacked that creamy texture I was hoping for. I’d be open to trying a different cheesecake next time.

“It was an absolutely unbelievable effort from Megan and Tyler. I got the wrong cake for my friend’s birthday, and it turned out to be mocha, which she is allergic to. I didn’t have my receipt, and it was my fault for wanting a different cake but they didn’t make me feel that way. They were kind enough to go back and look for my receipt to help me get a different cake. I run a restaurant, and I can say no one else would do that. It took them over 10 minutes to locate my lost receipt, but they did it and offered me a resolution. No one takes that much time on a busy weekend; it clearly showed they care about their customers.
